St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital Hospital
The only negative/uncomfortable thing I would share was...the bed was broken that I was in after surgery. It would not go down...only up. So, when I was finally put in a room and they realized my bed didn't work, the staff made some comments on how they would get me to another bed and I was a bit sensitive about how they were talking with each other about me getting in a different bed. And it was time for the new shift to be coming on...so I think they were probably tired and frustrated, but I did get my feelings hurt and ended up, sitting up and transferring myself. This was the only negative experience I had.
I may be bised since I work there, but to me the best compliment is that I chose this hospital to take care of me even if I work there! No, kidding aside, this hospital has their own baritric beds especially for this procedure, and even trained nurse to care for the bariatric patient. They give you a private room that accommodates big boy beds if you need to , and overall, the care is just great. Nurses are sensitive to your needs, but are strict enough to know your needs, exspecially getting out of bed and walking! MY hospital experience was just great!
