Dr. Melmed was incredible!! I already look incredible just 4 days out. Dr. Melmed is awesome, His staff is awesome, I would recommend him and his services to anyone looking for the ultimate p-surgeon. Fabulous work!!!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I've never met a doctor quite like Dr. Melmed. He's compassionate, caring and would answer any question you might have. He spent 2 hours with me during my consultation...just talking and explaining the procedures. Now, I'm just waiting on insurance approval. He is at Medical City of Dallas and they are supposed to be one of the best as well! Go see this doctor! He is amazing!

Dr. Melmed is the most kind and knowledgeable person I have ever been associated with. He did surgery on me and I am totally satisfied with the results and I am only 3 months post op from my tummy tuck. You will never find a more kind and caring doc anywhere.

I HAVE NOT HAD MY SURGERY YET, BUT HE WILL DEFINTLY BE MY DR. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIM. HE WAS EXTREMLY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE PROCEDURES HE WOULD BE PROFORMING AND VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD ABOUT WHAT HE WOULD AND WOULD NOT DO. HE ALSO WAS A VERY GOOD LISTENER. I LIKE HIM AND HIS OFFICE STAFF VERY MUCH. I AM WAITING FOR INSURANCE APPROVAL.

I have not had my surgery yet but just spending a couple of hours with him I am sold! His staff and himself were more like family to me immediately then any other doctors office I had been in. He also told me to get more then one opinion and he did not know I had already gone to another plastic surgeon--I signed the paperwork that day. He is wonderful! He had a few other bariatric patients prior to me and that allowed me also to be comfortable with his opinions.

Dr. Melmed came highly recommended by another physician. I dropped by his office to make an appointment. He was there and insisted that I stay and talk with him (which I did) and he spent almost 45 minutes talking to me, drawing diagrams, and explaining how he did pannis removal/tummy tucks, etc. He then refused to take any payment for his time. On my first preop visit, we again went over the details of the surgery and he recommended that I get 2-3 consults. I was well aware of his reputation in the community and found it unnecessary to get any other consults.
After being 3+ years post weight loss, I found out that my insurance would pay for procedures that were "medically necessary". This surgery was approved the day they received the papers.
Six weeks later, Dr. Melmed wrote a letter to request a thighplasty and it too was approved immediately; however, I waited three weeks for Dr. James Mueller, my anesthesiologist, to be available.
Dr. Melmed has an excellent bedside manner, is a fantastic surgeon, and remains A#1 in my book. Obviously, since I returned to him for a second procedure. I would be more than happy to talk with anyone about him or his procedures.
