Michael Hueneke Plastic Surgeon M.D.

I liked Dr. Hueneke from the moment I met him. He spent over an hour in consultation, listening to my needs, wants. During the meeting, he provided photographs of other patients who had the same types of procedures that I was looking to have. This helped ease my mind, being able to see his work.

He was more than willing to write a letter and submit pictures to my insurance company (which is something that some surgeons no longer do). He was honest in his assessment that he could not say whether insurance would cover or not, that each one varied in their criteria. But, within just 7 days of submitting to insurance, I was approved!

I also have other services done at Dr. Hueneke's office (laser hair removal). His office staff are very nice, from the receptionist to the anesthetist.

As for the care of his patients, I called his answering service on a Saturday morning when my drain tube started to leak. He called me right back within 3 minutes, and gave me guidance which resolved the problem.

I would recommend him as a plastic surgeon. And, I have recommended him. One of my friends had her procedure done by him as well.

I was very pleased. The only problem I encountered was with aftercare instructions which were left out at the hospital recovery, but when I shared this problem with Dr. Hueneke, he contacted the hospital and has corrected the problem so other patients would not experience the problem. He cares for his patients, and I will return to him again some day when finances allow it for another procedure.

Dr. Hueneke is a sweet and caring Christian man. I believe he truly cares about each of his patients.
