She is very informed about gastric bypass, as her sister has had the surgery. She is very supportive, but she also explains the risks involved with the surgery.

I was amazed at this doctor. Even though she is one of the most busiest in her field, she doesn't miss a beat. She immediately has caught on to things that were wrong with me and what a blessing that was. At first, (4 years ago) she didn't want me to go for the bypass, but after discussing it with me and the number of different ways I tried to lose weight, she agreed to refer me........HALLELULIAH...I am now 165 pounds....down from 375 pounds. Thank you Dr. Laughlin.

My husband and I used to have Dr. Laughlin when we were first married, 13.5 years ago. She was a phenomenal doctor then, and still is today. I know, sounds too good to be true, but all my ratings are NOT exaggerations.
Also, her own sister had the surgery, successfully, and Dr. Laughlin has done extensive research on WLS. What more could an obese patient want from her doctor?
