Syntrax Nectar Sweets Whey Protein Isolate, Vanilla Bean Torte by Syntrax® - Powdered Meals / Shake

Vanilla Torte is very much like a vanilla bean, down to the little black specs. If you like vanilla, this is a great selection. It tastes great mixed with water, soy milk, or skim milk in a shaker with shaker ball. It's my favorite of the four choices of Nectar I've purchased.

I add the Chocolate Truffle or Vanilla Bean to my coffee (< 130 degrees) Yum!

Mine just came today. I ordered three kinds~ Chocolate truffle, Vanilla bean torte, and Fuzzy navel. One scoop = 23 grm protein. 90 to 100 calories per scoop.
Pure protein isolate, no sugar, carbs ( 1 grm carbs depending on flavor) or fat. Low cholesterol. Yes, it's sweetened with Splenda. I really like it thou. Fluffy. Vanilla has specks of vanilla bean. 4th protein powder I've tried.
I guess Syntrax also has a "natural" Nectar in 2 flavors, orange and peach~ sweetened with Stevia.

I love the Vanilla Bean Torte, Chocolate Truffle, and Cappachino flavors. I mix them with milk and decaf coffee. I also love them in the blender with soy milk and frozen fruit. This is the only protein powder I think tastes good.

Overly sickening sweet. Some aftertaste. Not as good as the other Nectar products. Strawberry Mousse on the the other hand is EXCELLLLLENT!

If you have ever had StarBucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, you will like this. I like to use it with milk to acheive the same taste. and its 100's calories less than starbucks!! =D

I found it too sweet for my taste buds, it leaves a dark residue in the cup that looks like small granules of grit. I am not sure what it is. It was simply too sweet for my preference, had used it in coffee only and did not care for it. The flavor was tolerable had it not been too sweet.

YUM YUM YUM! What a happy change of pace from the either too-bland, too-sweet or too-chemical tastes of so many of the protein supplements I've been testing! The two flavors were nicely balanced, the drink wasn't very sweet, it mixed up nice and thin, and I actually *enjoyed* drinking it. I suspect this one will be a keeper for later on after surgery, once my tastebuds have recovered from the acute postop phase :-) .
