Amanda Heinrichs Registered Nurse RN

  • About Me
Amanda Tyacke, RN – Office Nurse & Fill Clinic –[email protected] Degree in nursing from Hesston College. Currently, she is the Office Registered Nurse and Fill Clinic manager, and has been part of the Denver Bariatrics team since 2007. Her previous experience includes serving as camp nurse during the summer; a term in the Multitrauma unit at Swedish Medical Center; and nursing for Denver Health Medical Center in their Nursery. Now Amanda spends her free time with her three-year old, family and gardening. Amanda also has a bariatric success story of her own — she first met Dr. Snyder in 2006 when she decided to undergo the Gastric Band procedure, losing 100 pounds in the first year. In 2012 she gave birth to a healthy baby boy after being told for more than a decade that she couldn’t because of her weight. With such a personal connection to the practice, she is the first to remind patients that bariatric surgery is a process; the changes don’t happen overnight. Sometimes you don’t realize how all the small changes are equaling that big change in your life. For Amanda, watching the patients do things they haven’t done for so long is the most rewarding part of her job.
