Protein?

Hun, it really all depends on where you are in the recovery process and how your individual body is adapting to the change. Me? I can't eat those 100 calorie snack bags....tried yesterday and it went down fine but within 30 minutes of me finishing I was nauseated and I started to
.
However I can eat tortillas (warmed to a crisp) or tortilla chips (corn) with no problem. A lot of folks here cannot do that yet.
Some rely on eggs and others can't stand the texture.
Hang in there... you will eventually find your comfort level and be able to get in things that you never thought you could!

I am doing a very similar tactic as you. I get most of my protein in from natural food sources. However whenever I am eating something that is high in carbs like potatoes (mashed made with lactaid and FF butter substitute) I add in a scoop of flavorless protein powder to make it work eating. I definitly do not want to deprive myself of my favorite foods. KWIM?
The only days I am relaying on my protein drinks now are on days where I might have not felt good or I had gotten sick and lost a meal. Then at night I will get in a shake to make up for the loss.
