Hello everyone,

I just had to post to let everybody know that I ran my first 5K today with my husband and son. It was great!!! I was so excited as this is something I have always wanted to do but felt as if I couldn't because of the weight. On mile 3 I was starting to hurt but my husband pulled me through and I didn't stop at all I ran the whole way. From what my husbands watch said I ran it in 30 min. 25 seconds. I was trying for an even 30 min. but it did take some time to get through the crowd. Just wanted to share, I am so excited!!!!

Topic: 162~hit a stall

I have been hanging out at 162 for a month now~urgh!!!!! I so want to make it into the 150's, LOL, so I'll keep working on it! I've been so good too~getting in my protein and water, exercising, etc. This too shall pass, I know, but I'm going to give it one more week (I weigh in on Saturday mornings) and if no downward move, then I'm going to give the plateu buster a try~I've never done it before so I have no clue if it really works! I am the winning "loser" so far in my school's weight loss contest. The prize is $600.00!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!! I am going to use the money to buy a new musical instrument. Probably a Lute. Then I am going to take Lute lessons from a Master Lutenist in the summertime at a workshop in Austin called the Texas Toot. I love learning a new instrument every year. I have been a slacker this past year; mostly because of surgery but also lazy. I feel on track again, even if my back is hurting like CRAZY!!! Keep prayers coming. I feel slightly better today,(in spirit, anyway.)
