Topic: I lost more weight!!!!Plateau gone!
We are having a contest at my school for weight loss. The winner gets $$$. I lost 4 lbs. in 2 weeks. I had to stop exercising, and started eating more (good stuff, but I am ALWAYS hungry!).....o.k. there was that butterfinger mini but......
Anyway, we all weighed in today and I have lost the most. They are crying"foul" because of my surgery, but I say "Hey, It has been a year, and I started 120 lbs. ago......get over it."
Then I danced down the hall. HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I guess it is true when my nutritionist says that if I don't eat enough, my body won't lose. So, now to lose weight I have to exercise every other day instead of every day and eat more. What a turnaround from the old days!!!!!!

Wow, Mary,
You DID have a lot done. I want the same myself when I can afford it. Feel better soon, and let us know how the stitches under the arms look afterwards. I am sooooo afraid of looking like frankenstein's monster under my arms. I saw web pics of underarms down by a doc here in the valley and they were AWFUL!!! Big scars even after 6 months. YIKES!!!

Topic: Hernia questions
Hello all:
I went for my one year check up today and was told I have a hernia. Does anyone know why gastric bypass surgery causes a hernia? My surgeon didn't seem that worried about it but I am now freaking out because I want to make sure I can still exercise and not aggravate it. I also have a Disney vacation planned for March. Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks!
