I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been so supportive over the past year. While I haven't posted a whole bunch I read posts daily, and look to all of you for support and inspiration. AND I was so unhappy. I just want to take a moment to thank my surgeon and all of my support team for the awesome help over the last year. Exactly one year ago today...right now...12:59 pm EST... I was under anesthesia on the operating table having RNY... I said goodbye to my old tummy, and welcomed a brand new one. My my, how things have changed since then I have lost an entire person... I am now a size 10 and sometimes 8, down from an incredible size 28. I am happy to say that I will never be that person again, because the me now is thrilled with life, thrilled with my new lifestyle, and looking forward to an even brighter future. I want to take a moment to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this wonderful gift you have given me. You have shown me that over the past year, I really can achieve the unthinkable, if I only trust in you. You have made me a stronger soul, and for that I am eternally humbled by your awesome power and unconditional love. Thank you for my surgeon, who, with his superb skills was able to perform the Gastric Bypass surgery on me on January 18, 2005. I would not have had the sucess that I am now ejoying had you not guided his hands. I thank you for my family, Lord, as they are the most important aspect of my life. I am thankful that you have given me the opportunity to be with them for many more years, and not have to live in the agony of my former self. Thank you for this liberation, Lord, and I pray that through me, millions may see the awesome power that you have to change lives for the better. Thank you for always making the impossible a reality. Lord, use me as you will, and touch lives with my testimony. In Jesus Name ... AMEN Please take a moment to thank those most important to you in your lives, because tomorrow is not promised. Live today as if it were your most precious, and always remember where you came from, so you will never find yourself in unfamiliar territory.
