Rhonda, I know what you mean. It puts us in a weird spot for sure~it always catches me so off guard! Sometimes I just say I had "surgery" and see if they catch on or not, LOL and sometimes I just say "I've been working really hard at it"~which is true, LOL! I don't mind talking about it with most people, but there are some people that you just really don't want all up in your business!

Topic: Today is my Anniversary
Well, I made it! One year ago today, I made the decision that changed my life...all for the better! Today, I am down 157 lbs. No more snoring, blood pressure normal, and sugar is no longer borderline. PTL! My overall health has improved greatly. I am so proud of all of us for making a conscious decision to change our lives for the better.

I think my all time favorite column from Dear Abby had this response about nosy questions:
Say to the person, "If it were any of your business, you would already know the answer to that question." And then change the subject. There is no end to rude and nosy questions people will ask if you don't stop them in their tracks.

p.s. You can say this with a bit of a wry grin and twinkle in your eye so it doesn't come across rudely but certainly gets the point across!
