Topic: My one year
Here it is my one year aniversary. When I look back I can not believe how far I've come. However I doubt seem to think like that.
I'm thinking about how my body and I are waging war! My surgeon told me I need to loose another twenty pounds. This would be all great and fine if my body would just do it.
It seems the only time my scale moves is when I get my period. Other then that it may move by a pound either up or down. I feel so frustrated and I'm begining to think can I do this? I know I can but you know the little demons that pop into your head and convince you other wise.
The perfect solution....VACATION. I am treating myself to FL. I leave tomarrow morning. I can not wait.
Anyways sorry if I depressed any of you with this.
HAPPY ONE YEAR TO ME!

Topic: RE: Eating Normal
I guess it is so normal to think we are eating too much. I think sometimes we need to remember how much we really ate before and in comparison ... I'm sure we eat less.
I know for me I have a protein drink for a meal replacement every day and drink two on M/W/F. So my only really normal meal is dinner and it's about the amount my 9 year old eats. I fix her plate and I fix a little less for me and then I figure I'm eating the amount I should.
Topic: RE: Any one schedule for a Tummy Tuck?
I hope you get what you want. We deserve it! My excess skin is little to none - no more than the average mom of two. I was sure the insurance company was going to deny it but they approved. More than a TT I would love a boob lift! They truly have gone south ...

Kiva,
It sounds ok to me and if you're not gaininig, I think you're on track. I guess we still need to keep our focus on protein first, which is sometimes harder for me the farther out that I get. This is my typical day (I eat ALOT of the same foods from day to day, so this is very typical, LOL)
B~fake oatmeal pancake w/sf syrup OR 1/3 C Grape Nuts and 1/2 C cottage Cheese
L~small bed of lettuce w/shaved deli turkey, mild cheddar cheese, few croutons and little bit of ranch dressing
D~this is the most difficult meal for me b/c I never know what to eat and I don't usually eat what the family eats. tonite I had
1/2 of a chicken breast
4oz of low sugar yogurt
For a snack at some point throughout the day or in the evening, I usually have a banana w/peanut butter or a small bowl of strawberries w/ cool whip
I also have days where it seems like I can eat alot and other days where I don't seem to eat anything. Its weird, but I guess everyone is like that from time to time. I am still losing pretty well at this point though, generally 1 or 2lbs a week and then a week or two later I won't have any loss. Last week I dropped 3lbs but I think that's b/c I really upped my workout routine. I hope this helps!
