Topic: RE: Ugh Calorie Question
Ugh is right. I was NEVER a calorie counter and not about to start. I do make sure that my food is protein oriented and let it go at that. I could not tell you how many calories I ate before nor how many I do now. Good luck with those of you that have the self control to count and stick to it.

Funny you should ask this question as it is the only real way this entire experience tells me I've lost weight.
When I look in the mirror I never saw a fat unhealthy person nor do I look in the mirror now and see a thinner healthier person. I see Donna. Always have.
BUT I know I've lost weight because the size of my clothes!!!
I started at 248lbs and today weight 160lbs. I am 5'4" and went from size 26 to an 8/10. Bra went from a 46DD to a 38DD so far. I've been a slow but steady looser the entire journey and my weight loss has not stopped. I"m scheduled for my tummy tuck on Feb 17 and the doc says that will take 10-12lbs off and 1 to 2 sizes more down. We'll wait and see.

Topic: RE: My Pet Peeve Question!
First of all you look great!
I too have been very open about my surgery. It bothers me when some people ask me and I usually change the subject. The funny thing is that the people who I would tell, don't ask, they have more manners than that!
My biggest pet peeves are like Stacey said the comments about "Skinny Minnie" or better yet, my personal favorite "Bone Bag". And I really love, "you are going to shrivel up and blow away", it amazes me how many different people have used that one. What?!? No, WTF?!? Who says these things to people, do they leave their brains at home somedays?
But I balance those with the highlights, like my 8 year old hugging me around my waist and saying "Mom, you are so hard", his little buddy telling me that I look beautiful and another one asking me if I got taller. Leave it to the 8 year old boys to say the right things and have more common sense than adults.
