My brother lived in Walkersville, MD. It is such a beautiful area. He is employed by Bechtel and has been sent to live/work in Arizona now! He hopes to return to the Frederick area again!

Suzanne, Glad to hear that everything went fine with your surgery. I sometimes feel like a ticking time bomb when it comes to my gallbladder because most have them taken out and I still have mine. I feel like it could start giving me problems at any time, although I haven't had any problems with it so far.

I have had three hernia since my surgery, my first hernia was repaired when I had the gastric bypass. When you go on vacation, if you havent had it repaired yet, make sure you have some kind of supportive undergarments or even maybe a abdominal binder to wear while you are walking around and things. Just make sure there is some kind of support and that will help with the pain and any tearing or making the hernia bigger.
