Sick
I have been sick. Sunday night I passed a kidney stone. Monday I was in a lot of pain and was also diagnosed with a UTI and now I'm on Bactrim (I cut these in half and take them that way). I was
all day yesterday and had a brief reprieve this morning. However, this afternoon and this evening, I'm nauseous and cannot seem to keep anything down.
I am barely tolerating flat Diet Pepsi.
My kids had a tummy flu last week...wondering if it's part of that. Or maybe the Bactrim? Or could this be something new? I don't have a fever or anything.
I feel really rotten and dehydrated. I guess I should call my surgeon? When do you go to the hospital for dehydration? How do you know when it's bad enough to do so?
Chele

Chele, I bet at least part of it is the Bactrim. Whenever I take that, it makes me nauseaus and many times makes me want to
especially if I take it on an empty stomach. As for the dehydration issue, I'm not sure. But, I'd say if you are feeling really bad, you might take a trip to the ER just to be sure. Better to be safe than sorry.
I hope you get to feeling better soon. Try to get something besides diet pepsi down, like water or diet sprite, as the caffeine will only dehydrate you even more. Take care!
