And thats EXACTLY how I feel.. It's just keeps coming out. I'm trying to stay positive. Yesterday was the first time I got kinda down about it but I keep telling myself that I KNEW it was a possibility. I got bat wings, a little extra skin some places and feel like I'll be bald soon but I look dang good in my clothes now! I guess I cant have it ALL! Kay

I get biotin in my multis and also eat black olives. I'm almost 5 months out and have had no problems with hair loss as yet. I am a stickler about getting my protein in every day however. Never less then 60 grams for me and usually more than 70. Also I'm pretty lucky to have very thick hair.

Hi Beth, I've currently been getting Biotin in my GNC Multi-Vitamin but just changed to an Atkins Carb Lifestyle vitamin. (They have 300mg of Biotin a day) I also use the Nioxin shampoo, conditioner & hairspray and notcie a big difference. My hair loss has slowed down now, combining both the Nioxin & Biotin. Give that a try or up your protein. Carly

Welp, it will help your nails and your new hair that will grow in. I have taken it since surgery, and I am loosing my hair. Have lost quite a bit actually. I have alot, although the hair itself is thin, I have a recedeing (sp) hairline now. I would say it made no difference. I also got all my protein in each day along with my vit. The hairloss is probubly from the surgery itself, some from the sudden lack of calories. So the damage has been done by now. Just able to take care of the new stuff coming in.

Yeah, I have a lot of really fine hair too. I swear, it gets everywhere! I told my BF he had one of my hairs hanging from his chin the other day and he said, "I find your hair in places where it *really* shouldn't be all the time. I don't even notice anymore!" I thought that was cute. Thanks for the post, Kristi! Beth

Thanks Renee. Gosh, I just love your new picture. The difference is amazing!! I guess no matter what at least we know that it will eventually stop falling out and grow back in. Like Kristi said, I guess maybe I should focus on taking it so that at least the new hair will be healthy!

I bought "Ultra hair, skin, and nails" pills from GNC. I can't prove if they are working but I have noticed a decrease in the amount of hair in my bru**** is still coming out some though. My opinion....I would rather be a bald size 8 than a full haired size 26 any day!! Just give me a wig when I get there!! Dawn
