Retaining Water...ladies
For the past several days I have avoided the scale like the plague because I knew my period was going to start any second. Yet tonight, it called to me...the evil thing. Even though my calves feel tight and swollen and I'm feeling bloated and cranky...I started today (at the gym, no less). So tonight, I thought maybe I'd be 2-3 lbs up or so.
WRONGO.
I am up 5 flippin' pounds this evening! I have to tell you that this does NOT please me. I know that it HAS to be water weight due to fluid retention but 5 pounds?! I wanted to fling my scale out of the window and watch it crash on the patio below.
Have you noticed that you retain fluid before your period arrives and if so, how many lbs? I don't remember having this issue to this degree before WLS which is why I'm enquiring.
