Lisa, You made me cry!! I just put my makeup on!! congratulations, it truely is a wonderful feeling going to the "otherside" of the wall at Wal-Mart and getting into regular sizes. I used to hate shopping..now I'm loving it.. DH said, he's going to have to get a second job because I keep buying things..lol (Hugs) Anna

LOL -- My hubs says that exact same thing. AND he goes around calling me the "Big Baller Shot Caller." Goof -- my dad did offer him a small non-interest loan for my clothes fund, though.

Lisa, that is so fantastic...your story gave me chills too. Being a size 16 now I too can shop at a lot of regular stores, and I don't think it's really hit me yet because I still see Lane Bryant as the only place I can go. Your story has inspired me to start spreading out. Maybe I'll take a trip to the mall this weekend? Congratulations...what an accomplishment!! Beth

Hey Beth -- I had a Lane Bryant moment about three weeks ago. I ordered a swim suit online for our vacation coming up and once I placed the order, I was looking through the online catalog and the size guide caught my eye. I saw the sizes begin at 14. And then I panicked because I didn't know where I was going to shop if I couldn't shop at Lane Bryant or Catherines. My hubs gently pointed out to me that I could shop anywhere I wanted to, but since I've never been able to do that, it wasn't a viable option in my mind. LOL.

That's sweet of your dad!! My DH now calls me his "bag of bones" He's always poking on me and says "Man I can feel bones!" We've been married for almost 30 years and I haven't been this weight in 29 of those 30 years.

Mine calls me "skinny girl". But I'm the one that's always going around saying stupid stuff like, "Hey, did you know there was a bone here?" Or the ever popular, "Come feel this." Or I look like a self-pleasuring perv everywhere I go because I'm always feeling myself up. LOL -- putting my fingers on all the bones.
