Exciting day ahead of me.... :)

Today I get to meet the other side of my husband's family. We've been together for almost 11 years and because of a family squabble that happened in 1990.... I've never been able to meet anyof them. We invited them to our wedding and to birthday parties -- but they'd never budge!! Heck -- they've never even met my two daughters. Well a few months ago when my husband's grandfather became ill, my father-in-law and his brother declared a truce. My husband was surprised to find a wedding invitation from his cousin in the mail. Well the wedding is tonight!!!! Of all things, it's a luau themed, and they asked everyone to dress accordingly!! Well there was no way my body was ready for a grass skirt .. so I'm wearing a little black dress that has tall embroidered flowers on it. Lyle is wearing a hawaiian shirt with dockers.... I promise to take lots of pictures!!!! Susan
