I just bought some Special K Protein Plus cereal today. It has 10g of protein!!! That's really good too. So I ate some dry, and it's really good too. But I haven't had cereal w/ milk yet? How do you eat it? I know it sounds funny, but they say no eating and drinking at the same time. Do you use just a little bit of milk? Do you let it get soggy first then drink the milk later? I'm ready to eat it! I'll try it first at home (of course), so I can see the "effect" it has on me. April

Hey April When I first started eating this cereal, I was thinking the same thing. I eat it with 6 oz of milk. The first time I tried it, my pouch didn't like it so I tried it again and let the cereal get a little soft and it went down fine. I added a pack of splenda and a cut up strawberry to it and it was delicious!! Enjoy! Kay

I also wondered about the milk in the cereal so I just have the milk that's on the spoon when I take a bite. I don't drink the left over milk. Cindy B. 469/303/150

Never was a big cereal eater myself I think I'll stick with my cottage cheese. 1/2C gives me 14grams of protein.

April, I eat this cereal periodically...I used to eat it with Carb Countdown 2%, but now I just usually eat it with regular 2% milk...I don't measure the milk or cereal anymore. I can just "eyeball" it. I like it with a little Splenda on top. Chele

Has anyone tried Kashi? I heard that was suppose to be really good cereal and high in protein as well. I haven't had cereal in a long time, it's not that I miss it but would be nice to change up my breakfast routine of eggs all the time! Kelli

Hi Kelli, I love the Kashi " crunchy" cereal, has lots of fiber, protein and not high in calories. I eat it dry though. Its very good for snacking as well. I still can't eat eggs, makes me vomit everytime I try and reintroduce them. Deb

I love Kashi, I have Kashi in my yogurt every morning. Last week I tried cereal with milk and it made me very full.
