Update on Julie

Hi everyone!! I called the hospital where Julie is at just to see how she is doing and she sounded pretty darn good for condition. She asked me to let you all know that she appreciates all your loving prayers and said that she misses everyone here. Please pray that all is well with her, and if you get the chance give her a call to help brighten her spirits!! The number is 251-633-1000 and she is in room 1114. Hey Steph Thanks for lettting us know how she is. Do you know why they had to do the surgery?? I have been thinking about her all day. Kay

Hey there Kay, From what I could gather she had several perforations in the muscle I think and her intestine slipped in and basically cut off her ability to pass anything be it food or liquids, I am thinking that may have killed the tissue and they had to remove that section, mind you this is just speculation from what she told me, but I have known this to happen to people who have never had this type of surgery, in those cases it was a twisted or obstructed bowel that caused the same reaction and had to be removed as well. Anyway, if you can possibly swing it, maybe you could call her and see how she is feeling to help lighten her mood, I know that she is pretty depressed with all the sickness and complications, but still seems in good spirits under the cir****tances.
