Hello I have missed you all

Hello everyone! I have missed talking to you all so much and there is so many new faces on here! I am loving it. I have made up my mind that one day very soon I am going to bye my very own laptop because this old computer is slow and when it feels the urge is just stops! Crazy I know! I have been watching what I eat closely and I have been writing everything down in my own little book to keep myself accountable. Now if I can only work on the the working out. It has been very hard to make myself to get up and move. I ride myself hard because of it but...........we will see what happens. I am so excited to go "Home" to Ohio to see my family. I have been keeping my self busy trying "to move to live". This time last year it took all I had to get my butt up to go to the bath room, and now I am walking and checking the mall.......our drive way is really, really, really long. SO WLS has saved my life. My surgern has saved my life. You my family on OH has helped me "want" and "expect" more out of my self and my life. THANK YOU for that. I will try to be more active even with this old computer LOL Much Love, Melissa

Hi Melissa You are doing so well. And you know, it will get better every day I know what you mean. Not so long ago, I was sitting in my lift chair just waiting to die and now....I'm planning vacations, not just for next week but for 7 months from now Life is good and it is getting better for all of us I can't wait to see you sweetie, Regards and many hugs Ronna

Glad to see you're back. Keep moving. Ronna tells me you may meet us to eat in Katy on July 5. That will be nice. I'm looking forward to seeing both of you and talking to you in person. You disappeared from OH just about the time I was going to see if you wanted to meet somewhere in Livingston to eat. My husband just came home and we're leaving for San Antonio on Sunday. Welcome back! Remember to take one day at a time...it's something I have to work really hard at...but makes a huge difference! Where in Ohio are you from? I am going to Chicago to see my family and high school friends in 10 days and am also really excited. Keep plugging along! And be proud of yourself...we all are! Jen

Melissa, First let me tell you how much of an inspiration to everyone you are! If that weren't true DH wouldn't give a rat's behind about your journey. I think that you are the one that needs to be thanked...not vice versa. I look so farward to hearing your progess and your wows because I know that the little things that I took for granted so long in life YOU DIDN'T and to hear to say that getting the mail is an achievement reveals to me how blessed I am. I am so proud of you. With that said....PLEASE go get yourself a lap top soon so we won't have Melissa-free days in the future!! Love, Dawn
