What's on YOUR menu for Friday?
There was practically a typhoon here it was so much rain, and of course I got caught in it....without an umbrella
. Then 15 minutes away it was dry as a bone
. Here's what I had:
B- 1/2 cup LF cottage cheese w/ 3 strawberries sprinkled w/ splenda....yum
S- iced coffee w/ 2 scoops protein...i'm addicted
L- 3 slices deli meat rolled with 1.5 slices FF cheese, 4 cucumber slices and dressing,
some FF pringles
D-some maryland crab soup, then chicken casear salad w/ drsg on the side
S- ? maybe come cashews
Exercise- 1 hr. at kickboxing
Fluids- 88 so far...some crystal light b4 bed
Vitamins- still have mulitvite to take!

L-Milwauke fish fillet and mashed squash
D- spaghetti...but I got sick so it didnt last....
S- nothing, I need more protein!!!!
water is doing great, probably around 80 oz so far
exercise at work was the norm, but we were extremely busy.

April - here's how to make the SF Banana pudding:
1 box Jello SF Banana Cream Pie Pudding Mix
1 1/2 c skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/2-3/4 chopped banana
1/2 c SF Cool Whip
Mix pudding mix, protein powder, and milk for 1-2 minutes until it starts to thicken. Add chopped banana and cool whip. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or so until it thickens some more. I had found SF Snickerdoodles at a World Market store, so I broke one in half, tore it up in bowl, and added 1/2 c banana pudding on top - it'll give you about 10 grams of protein and tastes really good.
You can also make protein pudding w/ any variety. Some of my favorites are butterscotch and also pistachio.

I am back LOL, Doc. says I have to up my protein It has not been fun so here I go!
8:00-9:30 ~ 1 cup LF Cottage cheese 28g
1:30-2:00 ~ 28 pep. 10g, 4 ozCheese 12g
7:30- 9:00 ~ 4 oz ground turkey 28g, 2 oz Cheese 6g
LNS: BAD MELISSA~ 1 cup popcorn ( I have yet to bet this!
)
Water: 112oz (I try to keep it higher)
Protein: 84g
Exer: Does chasing after a 2 year old count?
I will do better on Exercise, I promise!

I'm having a exercise issue too. I use to walk every morning and walk every evening after dinner. I'm slacking. Now I have to make myself walk at night after I eat. So I guess we both better get our butts in gear.
Do you feel you have to eat more food to get the protein in or are you just chaning what you eat to more protein type foods? I need more protein but I'm too full to add more food.

Sometimes I feel like I have to eat more, which I hated! But now I just change what I eat. I read and weigh out everything so to get the portein in. My Doc. wants me to get 100+ but no less than 70. He does not want me to do shakes or bars. I also go for more food but I take a lot longer eating it. Like it takes me an hour to eat a cup of CCheese. BUT it must be working because I have lost 10 punds in a week and last month I had lost 9 pounds for the whole month. SO, I must be doing something right. LOL
