Hi all~ It's been a while since we had a roll call and when I checked the post numbers Jaci is kicking my butt...therefore I have to start posting something!! QOD: 1. Looking back at where you "hoped" to be at this point in your WLS journey right now would you say you haven't reached, reached, or exceeded your expectations? 2. Do you plan on having plastic surgery even if it means that you have to pay out of pocket? 3. What was your last "wow" moment? ~*~My answers~*~ 1. slightly exceeded 2. I would have said no if this was asked a couple months ago but now I am leaning more towards yes. My doc helped waiver my decision...he said that my stomach is never going to get as flat as I would like it and I am just too attractive to not be able to flaunt it. (I'm beginning to love that man!!) 3. 2 weeks ago I had a pair of shorts that would not fit to save my life....7 days later they fit perfect...now they are borderline too big! Dawn

Good questions, Dawn. 1. I know that I'm average in my loss, however, I had hoped to hit 100 pounds lost t my sixth month. I've lost 76 pounds since my surgery, so I know that probably won't happen. However, I am pleased with the loss so far. 2. I do plan on plastic surgery (a tuck and AT LEAST a breast lift, if not augmentation) and even if I have to pay out of pocket. I will have an apron of belly skin and that's not acceptable to me. Also, my "girls" have deflated and are pointing south, again, not acceptable to me. Everything else I can live with. 3. My last wow moment was on Saturday at Old Navy. I fit into a Large top on the advice of my daughter who told me that the XL I had picked out was too big. And, of course, I argued with her and she finally forced me to put it on and it fit. And once again, I embarrassed myself in a public dressing room by crying (remember my embarrassing Wal-mart moment a few weeks ago?). But this time, my daughter cried with me. LOL.

1. As of right now I would say I haven't quite reached my expectation of where I wanted to be at almost 6 months, but I'm getting there and I can't really say I'm disappointed either. How's that for a wish-washy answer ... LOL 2. As of right now I'm thinking I might have to have my arms done, but not sure about anything else. And when I found out the price on that, I might change my mind. LOL 3. My Wow moment was Friday when I finally took my first "after" pic and then compared it to my "before" picture. I knew there were changes, but seeing it side by side really Wow'd me. Debbie

Hey Dawn I don't even think its possible to beat Jaci but Good luck 1. Looking back at where you "hoped" to be at this point in your WLS journey right now would you say you haven't reached, reached, or exceeded your expectations? ~ I have reached my expectations. 2. Do you plan on having plastic surgery even if it means that you have to pay out of pocket? ~Definantly, I need it. 3. What was your last "wow" moment? ~ Yesterday I got in the car and didn't have to move the seat back after stephanie drove. Even though I'm shorter than her, normally I have to move the seat back because I felt like my boobs and belly was rubbing the wheel. LOL. On the way to the pool yesterday, I just hopped in and drove away! ... WOW!!! Have a good day Kay

Hola Aurora!!! Can I play??? Here are my answers: 1. Looking back at where you "hoped" to be at this point in your WLS journey right now would you say you haven't reached, reached, or exceeded your expectations? I would say that I had no expectations at all, except loosing steady, no measurable goals. So, I would say that I have reached my expectations becauese I wanted to use my honey moon outfit in some months and I just did it!!! 2. Do you plan on having plastic surgery even if it means that you have to pay out of pocket? I don't plan it yet. My sking is doing awesome so far. I started to swimm last week and expect it will help me our with my body. 3. What was your last "wow" moment? Being able to swimm 2000 mts. in one hour!!! (I used to swimm a lot in my youth, being able to do it again cofortably is a huge milestone for me!) Best Regards Dawn..... Alex

Morning, Dawn! Here are my answers: 1. I had a dream that I would reach 100 pounds by my six month anniversary, but I don't think that's going to happen. I am down 86 pounds with only 13 more days to go until my 6 month point. Although I haven't reached that goal, I certainly can't say that I'm disappointed with 86 pounds. It's pretty awesome. 2. I definitely plan on a tummy tuck and, more importantly, a lift or augmentation for my girls. I want a body that looks good in AND out of my clothes! 3. There are little wow moments every day for me. Probably yesterday going into regular stores at the mall and realizing I could actually wear the clothes in there! I used to feel like if I went into a non-plus size store with a friend or to find a gift, that the salesladies would all be looking at me thinking, "what does *she* expect to find in here!" I didn't feel that way yesterday. Beth
