Gary is not doing well....

Hi every body: I received this email today very late. Please keep your prayings for my friend.... ____________________________________________________________________ Hello everyone. Well we got the word today. It was cancer but it was totally contained and they believe that it is now gone. Praise God! We?re not sure yet if that means any followup treatment but we don?t think so. We see God?s hand of mercy in that it was found early enough to be taken care of before there were additional problems. Thank you for your prayers. Gary had a very bad night last night. His roommate was dying and the nurses were working on him all night long keeping Gary awake. Then in the morning they took away some of his pain medication with the goal of sending him home today. However, he is experiencing abdominal swelling that is causing him a lot of pain so they had to increase his medication again. They say the swelling is nothing to be concerned with and that it is normal. But it doesn?t seem normal to us because it is causing increased pain. He also has not been able to urinate on his own yet. This also produces discomfort. Please pray that he gets a good nights sleep, that the swelling will go down, that he will get stronger, and that he will experience a decrease in pain. I?m hoping that he can come home tomorrow but it will not happen if there is not a lot of improvement from today. He was much better yesterday. Again, thank you for your prayers.
