What's On Your 4th of July Menu?

~~*Happy 4th of July*~~ I hope everyone is out enjoying the day with friends and family. I sure am. We went to the lake early this morning and had a great time fishing, swimming and grilling. I'm home to rest for a few then go uptown with friends and see the fireworks later. My Menu~ I snacked all day and ate too much.. I'm ashamed but I told myself that I was going to be honest on my post! Flame me.. go ahead!! B~FF Turkey Hotdog w/ mustard and 6 mini sun chips from a 100 calorie bag. S~ 6 more sunchips S #2~ 1 dill pickle spear L~Half a grilled bunless burger w/ 2% Pepperjack cheese, lettuce, grilled onions and mustard AND a SF lemon cookie S~ 2 watermelon chunks and 2 cantalope chunks D~ 1 grilled shish-k-bob ( @ my spelling) with steak, shrimp, corn, onions and peppers skewered on it. Vitamins: on track Exercise: walking and lots of swimming Water: 42 oz so far Have a wonderful day Kay

Hi Kay My menu~ B~ Skipped L~8oz FF CC milk, 1 scoop protein, 8oz vanilla nut coffee D~while everyone dug into hotdogs and hamburgers "I" cooked...I ate 10 medium shrimp. Vitamins done, doing well with water, gym closed Dawn

I just had 3 teaspoons choc chip cookie dough LF frozen yogurt (add that to my menu) (darn AF...makes me crave carbs!!! ) Dawn

Happy Fourth of July to my American friends! hot tea to take my meds B protein shake w/ skim milk, 1 egg, unsweetened peaches and mandarin orange slices, 1/2 banana and pineapple flavoured protein powder, ground flax seed, cinnamon S nuts L egg salad sandwich without the bread (wrapped in lettuce) S cheese D will be cottage cheese w/ peaches w/ sunflower seeds vitamins, B12, calcium, iron all taken working on second litre of water Nancy B

Kay, Your menu doesn't look that bad. You didn't make any terrible choices. Just think what you would have eaten last year at this time. I've been basically lazy today. I went to the mall to pick up a sweater that I saw on sale yesterday--that was my biggest accomplishment today..lol B: 1/4 cantaloupe with 1/2 c cottage cheese S: 4 cheese/p-nut butter crackers L: p-nut butter & banana on a rice cake D: hubby grilled porterhouse steaks on the grill--delicious!! Also had a few asparagus. He also made sweet potatoes, but I was too full to eat any of them. Vitamins ok water--ok No exercise--gym closed

Today is my 14th anniversary. B~Nada L~Nada D~Nada S~1/4th cup nuts I kept waiting for hubby to take me out to eat. He didn't so I didn't. Fluids 48oz, but still drinking Suppliments done.

Happy Holiday Everyone!! Menu for July 4, 2006: B~ Cottage Cheese and Banana L~ 1/2 English Muffin with Butter and Muenster cheese S~ SF Gum 1 piece D~ All Beef Hotdog, Pretzels and TOFU Fudgicle Vitamin ~ taken Fluids ~ 50 oz so far Excersize ~ Biked 3 miles and 30 min curcuit training Went to the moovies to see Superman Returns. LOVED IT!!! Robin
