My Little Success

Carole~ Congratulations on your accomplishments!! Your doing great! I also started out in a size 34 pant and 32 top so I understand how you feel about sharing things and feeling kinda silly after reading someone share their tiny size. I'm in a size 22/24 now and it feels great. I'm Proud of US for going down so many sizes in a short period of time!! You mention fitting in to booths.. that was another wow moment for me that I didn't think anyone on this board would understand. Congratulations on that too!!! Kay

WOW! Isnt that exciting!! That's fabulous! Its NOT silly at all! We need to celebrate each new improvement..each new change..it's all for the good, girl! Hell's bells! It's a miracle how good I feel and how YOU must feel too! Why shouldn't we be thrilled!?! I also started as a size 32-34....mostly homemade because I couldnt find any to buy. Today, I am in a size 22 and just bought an absolutely gorgeous 2 pc outfit in size 20 that's still too tight but will fit soon! WHOO HOOOO!!! Yesterday I bought new undies...size 2X..down from size 6X! and that's with just a 70 pound loss( Im a slow loser) since surgery at 380 pounds....(102 pounds gone since my consult at 412 pounds and 122 pounds gone since my highest of 431). Ive also tossed my cane three weeks ago...yayy! Ive leaned on that thing since May 1999! whooiii!! FREEDOM! I fit in booths now too..and I even had a stranger tap me on the shoulder in the store the other day to say how pretty I was!?! OMG! I can get UP off the couch without rocking my body first or grabbing the coffee table....I can sit on chairs, even now, without being fearful of breaking them..they no longer groan in misery! My shoes are too big now! Am I celebrating? YOU BET I AM! and so should you! *hugs* Nancy B ...this is just the beginning!

CJ, That's major! I am so happy for you. It is wonderful to be able to go down that many sizes, being able to walk the mall is freedom as well and not having people notice you for being a certain size is the best thing! You are doing great! Karen S.

Thank you all for your support and comments. Indeed being smaller feels so great - the operative word is feel= healthy and energetic. I truly beleive no matter where are starting point is, we all face the journey together. And I couldn't do this without all of you and our open exchange here-- as I say, LIfe is good!! cj
