HEY ALL DID YOU MISS ME AS MUCH AS I MISSED YOU
Hi all! I had a great time in Ohio, I did so many things that I have not done in years! First off, I did not take my scooter to Ohio, my Mom is the one who picked me up so I did not want her to have to worry about pulling it through the city. At the airport in Houston, I meet Johnathon, the man filming me. I went to check in, then I had to walk a really really really long way to my terminal. I did not think I could do it, but he was filming so I made my self do it. LOL, I was so happy I was crying LOL. So he is talking to me and I am so scared to go home. I mean I knew they were having a party for me and I knew I would see people I have not seen in years because I was hiding. Well, I get on the plain and we fly to Chicago, I had to walk from one side of the airport to the other and I needed to sit down, I FIT IN THE CHAIR, one with arms, I cryed again. So I make it to the other side of the airport and Joh, is telling me how great I am doing and how proud of me he is. So I get on the next plain and we land in Ohio, so I am walking out and it was pretty far, but I just wanted to see my Mom, I turn the corner and she is crying so hard. I was like mom don't cry, she said "you are walking, I was waiting on a wheel chair, you are walking" LOL so I start crying again. (ok, so I cryed alot this week) My aunt was there and she was in tears, and she was like you look so great! So, we get home and my sister came out to the car, yep I said car, my mom has a small car I did not fit in, but I fit just fine in the back then. WOW it was wonderful, so she was crying so hard, I go in the house and my nephew ran up to me and said "Aunt lissa, you are so skinny now" How cute, then another nephew said "what happen to your belly?" I love kids! So the next day is party day! I was so upset I was crying, I was not ready to go, then my aunt (the other one) came in and she was in tears also, "you are walking, your face is so skinny, your top is so skinny" I cryed again. Ok, So I go to the party and ther was 50+++++ people, so I knew some I did not. All came up to me telling me how great I looked, huging me, a real hug it was so nice to feel a person so close . A reporter came and did a story on me ~ FRONT PAGE~ almost the whole page, can you belive it? So, I played with the kids, my sister and I played on a HUGE slid. It was wonderful! It was one of the best days of my life. Then my uncle was talking to Jon and he asked when would the show air, I was told when I hit my goal weight ~ 185-155~ he said the way she is lossing it will air in 10 months OMG that is no time. Joh, left the day after the party and he said he had 14 hours of tape in 2 days (well one and half). He said that I am doing a great job, and I maybe asked to do speaking jobs after it airs! HECK yes! Ok, two more things then I will end this story! I walked the hill from my granda to my moms, up and down, my mom and dad did not think I could make it, but I did! it was about, 1000 feet up and down, maybe more, I am just not sure, It was hard and I was tired, but I did it! I also went shopping and walked, no breathing hard, I got hot but I did it. I have not walked and shopped in almost 10 years. It was great! If I remember more I will tell you!

Welcome back my cherished friend. Your story of your vacation is just awesome. I am so happy for you. You are doing such a great job.
It is when I hear you tell your story that I really am aware of how important WLS is, and what a service it is to those of us that cannot lose the weight any other way and keep it off. You are such motivation and inspiration.

That's great that you had such a good time, Melissa. I can't wait to see your episode when it airs. I know we'll all be looking forward to it. I've got a box of clothes from Ronna for you, and I've got to throw in some stuff myself. I'm home the rest of this week, but will be gone for a week beginning Sunday, and then back to work as soon as I come home. Call me. We can meet for lunch or something.
