Hello out there!! How is everyone's day going? Mine is ok. I spent my day doing laundry and a little cleaning. I'm on the way to the hospital to visit steph's cousin so I'm posting a lil early today. My menu~ B~ 8 oz water with a scoop of protein. L~ Salad topped with ham, cheese, onions, cucumbers, few croutons and 1 tbs. lite italian S~ 4 oz Cho**** milk D~Leftovers.. Baked Chicken leg (no skin), 1/4 c. pinto beans and 2 tbs. steamed cabbage. Fitday Totals~ Calories~ 526 Fat~ 22 Carbs~ 22 Protein~ 60 Water: 36 oz so far Exercise: one mile walk Vitamins: on track Have a nice day Kay

Hi Kay, Your salad sounds so yummy! Thanks for doing this. B--1 and 1/2 bottles of Achieve protein coffee drink (needed that extra boost from the caffeine) L--1 Knudsone Lowfat Cottage Chees "On the Go" with about 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries mixed in. So yummy S-- Probably a Power Crunch bar. D-- Not sure yet but possibly an Aidell's chicken/turkey pattie with a slice of cheese on it. Getting my water and vitamins in. Exercise - went downstairs to the gym at work on my lunch hour and it was packed so I grabbed my iPod and went for a walk even though it was warm outside.

Hi Kay. Whenever you want to come to my house to do some laundry and cleaning....just let a sista know! B- 1/2 LF cottage cheese w/ sliced strawberries & splenda L- 3 mozzarella cubes w/ 4 multigrain crackers S- QSmart bar D- 2 turkey meatballs w/ LF ricotta cheese and marinara sauce S- protein iced coffee Had my appt. w/ my nutritionist today and she said I was right on track with my eating. She also said I was a poster child for weight loss surgery. She didn't even recognize me! April

Hi Guys: I thought about you today Kay...I was buying Special K extra protein cereal & I remembered that your sign on name was special Kay. See, you're in my thoughts!! I decided that I was tired of eating the same breakfast everyday so I thought I would try some cereal with skim milk and 1/2 banana tomorrow morning. Here's my menu: B: power crunch bar L: 1/4 cantaloupe with 1/2 c cottage cheese S: Pria protein bar before workout D: hubby made the absolutely most delicious steak on the grill. It was cooked to perfection and soooo tender you could cut it with a fork..yum, I also had 2 tiny salt potatos S: 2 cubes of watermelon so far, but it's calling my name I've got all vitamins in & I'm still working on my water great workout at the gym

It was hard for me today to get back on track with good eating (since I kinda took the weekend off). Here it is: B: 1/2 P'butter power crunch bar (don't like this flavor) L: 3 ritz w/ 2 oz Lemon Pepper Tuna S: 2 ritz w/ 1 oz Lemon Pepper Tuna S#2: Apricot Ginger Sorbet- ate about 1/3 cup, maybe less. D: 2 oz deli turkey, a bit of ranch, a bit of romaine, 3 baby carrots... then I proceeded to throw up most of it Ate too fast w/ out chewing well F: Will have some New Whey liquid protein later TOTALS (minus what I figure came back up and adding in the yet consumed liquid protein): Cals 479 Fat 13 Carbs 32 Protein 56

Mary, Is there a certain number of carbs and fat that you try to stay under everyday? My surgeon and nut say don't worry about it but I'm just curious to know what your rules are since you do fitday everyday. I also just asked on the main board so I'm curious to know what people's responce will be. Thanks kay
