I am just miserable and feel like a pig...My husband fixed country style ribs in the pressure cooker with BBQ sauce. I ate two of them They just tasted so good.....................I was doing so well and then it was like all those old 'food habits' came rushing back in one 'feld swoop'.......... Am I alone in this or have others of you eaten the 'whole thing'??? Rose

Do you hear yourself Rose? You ate 2. Just 2. How many would you have eaten preop? I probably would have had a dozen or more - oink oink. You're entitled to splurg now and again. Just don't do it everyday Sending hugs, Ronna

I'm with Jen...I am imagining ribs like in the opening of Flintstones. Either way.Don't feel bad. It happens. And if you feel sick because it was too much, go slower next time.

Well, it could be worse... like the otherday when I ate an entire brownie At least your ribs had protein! And, this isn't typical it sounds. So, get back on track and keep focused. We can't expect WLS to magically change our deamons overnight. This is a learning process, and as time goes on you will be more comfortable around temptation. Take care, Mary

please--ribs--they're like all bone and 2-4 oz meat on each--you didn't eat that much--when I ate ribs before surgery I ate them in terms of half racks and full racks so, it's all relative!!!! Cathy

I ate ribs at applebees one night. Ribs are pork which you are allowed, you only have to worry if you went above the 3oz max for dinner. Otherwise you are alright. I eat BBQ sauce all the time on everything. My dietician said it was fine, and i am still losing weight. I am down 117 ILBS since january and at Goal. Mike
