1.) What has been the most diffucult part of your WLS thus far?
(#1) Well I could write a book here! Most difficult part has been letting go of my addiction. Food was my friend, my best friend. When I was lonely, bored, happy, sad, angry........food was there. And I loved the feeling of being full and not being able to stuff my face with food to control my emotions is a daily struggle for me. (#2) My marriage has changed 100%. My husband is jealous now and I feel like I have to watch everything I do. (#3) I have days when I refuse to eat. I think my head is playing tricks on me. I wonder if I have an eatting disorder. Then I see my big fat reflection in the mirror and realize Im still to big to have an eatting disorder, so what if I only had 70 cal for the entire day. I could go on and on and on...........but I wont!
2.) What has been your greatest accomplishment with your WLS lifestlye? (of course, we have all lost weight, but what good habbits are you most proud of, what demon have you overcome?
I have come out of my shell, so to speak. I actually dropped off resumes this past week. Before I would have NEVER walked into a store and handed them a resume.

Morning Mary!! You always have such GREAT Questions!
1.) What has been the most diffucult part of your WLS thus far?
*** There have been quite a few....
A. Motivation to Work Out
B. Motivation to Eat/Drink
C. Head Issues... Until recently, I still saw the old me.... the new me is starting to emerge
D. (Gotta be comical here) The Huge Dent in my Pocket Book!
2.) What has been your greatest accomplishment with your WLS lifestlye? (of course, we have all lost weight, but what good habbits are you most proud of, what demon have you overcome?)
*** I am so happy I'm becoming me again. Pre-op, I didn't want to do anything because I was embarrassed. I felt ugly, ick, nasty, worthless. Now, I'm noticing I get a rush when I go to new places. My body fills with excitement at the thought of going out, meeting people, classes at school start up at the end of August- I cannot wait! I'm taking like 15 units of straight music classes and I can't wait!!!! Of course I'm also proud of me for having the guts to get out there and let myself be vulnerable. Because of that, dude I'm sooo happy and ready for more!!!!!

Hii Mary
Here are my answers:
1.) What has been the most diffucult part of your WLS thus far? For me it was at the beginning when I got the wound infection and had to go back into the hospital and then having to keep going back for the IV antibiotics. It seemed like it would never end and I really felt lousy.
2.) What has been your greatest accomplishment with your WLS lifestlye? (of course, we have all lost weight, but what good habbits are you most proud of, what demon have you overcome?) Believe it or not it's being able to take my dog for a walk. It's been over 2 years since I could do that and to be able to walk down the block with the dog is just a wonderful feeling.

Hello hello!
1.) What has been the most diffucult part of your WLS thus far?
The 2 strictures I got and exercise-fo sho!
2.) What has been your greatest accomplishment with your WLS lifestlye? (of course, we have all lost weight, but what good habbits are you most proud of, what demon have you overcome?)
I don't get down on myself for my imperfections. And no soda (even thought the pouch helps with that-I was addicted!)
1.) What has been the most diffucult part of your WLS thus far? The adjustment of the different type of eating for the first 2-3 months
2.) What has been your greatest accomplishment with your WLS lifestlye? (of course, we have all lost weight, but what good habbits are you most proud of, what demon have you overcome?) I haven't had any carbonated beverage, diet or regular, since my surgery and I drank plenty of Coke and Dr. Pepper before. If you see a deficit in their 2006 reports, it's probably because of my surgery. Not that an ice cold Dr. Pepper isn't tempting at times, I just say NO! It is constantly in front of me, because that's what my son and husband drink.
