FRIDAY'S Food: Whatcha Eat???
TGIF! Its Friday!!! I am excited for this weekend... its no tax weekend here in VA/DC for clothes, so I may go get a few new things
I am also planning on doing a dvd marathon. Which I am still trying to finalize my list of things to rent.
What are your weekend plans?
Heres what I have had so far today:
B: 4 oz Carb/Sugar Control Yogurt
L: 2oz LF Cottage Cheese, 4 baby carrots, 5 soy crisps
S: Light Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge, 10 soy crisps
F: 8 oz CC Choco Milk
D: Tonight I am going out, so it will be chicken of some sort with cheese. I am way exctied about this meal, its a great restraunt!

Imagine that...yesterday's post I was a day late and today I am the first one to respond.
my menu~
B: 6oz FF CC milk, 1 scoop protein, 12oz coffee, 2 splendas....over ice
S: 5 pringles (they are ALL GONE now so I wont stick my fingers in the can anymore)
L: 6oz tuna with 5 sprays of dressing
D: Pure Protein Bar

I use GNC 100% Whey Vanilla protein. I just think that the vanilla flavor goes well with coffee. Another thing that I do that I didn't mention before is I make my coffee the night before and put it in the fridge so it is already good and cold for the next morning. I have heard how heat can break down the protein, not to mention if it was hot coffee the ice would melt too fast.
Let me warn you though....this drink is amazingly good!!! I do a beeline right to the kitchen every morning full of anticipation of making my drink.

I'm cleaning house & packing tomorrow so I don't have to pack while I'm working next week. We fly to El Paso, TX on Thursday next week. I have to pack my husband's clothes as well as mine & my son's. We're also going to eat dinner tomorrow night & swim at my sister's house.
On the menu:

L: Tuna/Spinach Salad from Subway
S: Homegrown watermelon from my uncle's patch
D: Salmon & 2 spears Asparagus
S: 1/2 c LF cottage cheese w/ 1 pkt. True Lime & 1 pkt. Splenda (tried last night and was pretty good)

Water: 80 oz. so far
Exercise: leaving for park to walk 2 miles in a few minutes

Lunch : protein shake with CC Chocolate Milk and 1 scoop of Isopure
Dinner: 1/2 C Chicken Almond Grape Salad in a LF LC Tortillia & 10 grapes
Snack: 14 Almonds

OMG. I just had the. best. meal. ever.
Really, it was the best post op meal I have had. So darn good. No words. I picked at everything...

Mango Grape Pecan Salad w/ roasted chicken breast (I had a few grapes, a few tiny peices of mango, about 2.5 oz of chicken, a few peices of greens, and 3 of the sugared pecans, it was dressed with a vinagrette w/ a splash of buttermilk)
