I have a drinking problem!

I find it alot easier in the summer's hot weather of course...I fill my empty PROPEL..they have such a convenient POP top..and fill them 2/3 with water and freeze them and when i need them, i take one out and fill it the rest of the way and screw back the ld on it and I have ice water to sip at ...doesnt take long for the ice to start melting...and I always keep three bottles in the freezer.
My son also makes himself a set too..because he works outside and takes a cooler along.
Of course Crystal Light is nice too but for true refreshment, I prefer plain iced water.
Tea (decaffinated) is also good for you..warm tea soothes my pouch, Rufus.
I carry my fluids everywhere with me..even from room to room..sipping all day gets it in for me!

I guess I'm weird because I like water and always have. I drink 4 cups (32 oz.) when I get up in the morning before I get ready. I sip, take my vitamins and meds, and read OH and check my e-mail for about 1/2 an hour to get it all in. I also drink unsweetened decaf tea and use the Walmart brand of little SF drink mixes to put in my water at times for variety. Sometimes in the AM I feel like I'm drowning, but it helps to get in 1/2 your required water for the day right off the bat.

I struggle with this also Kay, but i have found that my problem is i get so busy in the afternoons. So I drink as much as i possibly can before 3 pm(usually i get in 3 16.9oz bottles of water). I watch the clock, and if it is say, 11:00 and I have only finished one bottle i know i better get moving, it is like a little contest i have with myself
Set goals, like you will drink 16oz by 9am, then another 16 by 11am....and so on. Found out what your busiest time of day is and work around that...keep trying, it is not easy.

I just stick to a drinking routine... I know I have to finish 2 glasses before each meal and then 2 before bed... I break it up into small 8-10oz glass sizes throughout the day I feel like I could actually finish.
I also always carry something to drink with me, or have something sitting next to me.
I too struggle, but with the routine, and it helps me make a habbit of drinking.
Also... two last words of advice: Crystal Light
