Cheese and cucumbers

Instead of eating crackers with cheese I replaced the crackers and use cucumbers. It really taste good. Do any of you have good snack suggestions.

That sounds so yummy. I am a big Racheal Ray fan and I see her replace cucumbers for crackers and it's such a good idea. I haven't tried it but I will. April and I have been on a cucumber kick. The only thing I snack on is popsicles and Beef jerky. Thanks for starting this. Hopefully I'll get some new and good ideas.

Oh Kay, you and my 4 year old would get along great. She loves Racheal Ray and watches her all the time. Its so cute (and alittle weird....lol). kristi

Wht a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I've been snacking on almonds lately. I usually have 1/2 an oz which is about 14. I buy the natural ones that have no salt. Really crunchy and is a good source of fiber (which I really need) and even has 4 grams of protein in the 1/2 oz.

Snacks..........oh man. Thats all I have been doing lately. I need to take contol of myself and get back on track. But here is what I have been snacking on: 1/2 banana, SF pudding, beef jerky, grapes, atkins breakfast protein bars, Iced COFFEE (lots and lots of coffee)........ummmmm, Im sure there is more. But I cant think right now. kristi

I think is so ironical that we all go through the same things at about the same time. Must just be part of the journey. Snacking seems to be the thing to fight right now. In other words, me too. I snack on cheese, deli turkey, sf candy. Mostly the hard suck on ones. They last longer. And coffee, lots and lots of coffee with sf, calorie free, carb free, everything free, but lots of flavor, caramel syrup, and splenda. Hazel.

I love cucumbers!! I will have to try that one. I also eat alot of the little cukes with valentinas picante sauce and a lot of lime juice and a dash of salt on them...of course they are peeled and sliced too Steph

Yeah, before I was snacking on a lot of carb items like crackers, FF pringles, pretzels. Nothing good. So I have removed some things from my house, which makes it easier. But also, I've turned to things like cucumbers (kay!!), or strawberries to snack on. Also, I've turned protein hot chocolate. It tastes sooo good, and it really fills you up. I feel better afterwards, because there's no guilt and it helps me get over the snacking for that time. The snacking has gotten better, but it's still a struggle. April
