~*~ TGIF~*~ Happy Friday Ladies How did everyone's day go? Mine went good. Nothing exciting. Who has exciting plans this weekend? Tonight some friends are coming over to play cards and Sunday is church, dinner and a movie. Other than that, nothing really planned... we will just go with the flow! My menu~ B~ 1 Egg omlet with turkey sausage & cheese S~ 6 oz Choc. CC milk with a vanilla matrix sample (1/2 scoop) L~ 8 oz Decaf with a scoop of protein S~ SF Popsicle D~ Taco.. Small corn tortilla, ground turkey, cheese, lettuce, sour cream & salsa Fitday Totals: Calories~ 638 Fat~ 26 Carbs~ 22 Protein~ 76 Water: 44 oz so far Vitamins: on track Exercise: 1.5 mile walk Have a fabulous evening and weekend Kay

way to go on joining the gym! that was a hard step for me (and exciting). i still don't go as often as i should, but it is soooo nice to have it at my disposal. i definately work out more with it then i would have without it!

It has been my long day, and I just didn't quite eat meals persay, so I am just going to list what I ate during the process of the day. 2oz cheese 4oz grilled chicken breast. 1/3 cup pretzel cracker snack mix. (the carbs made me ) 1/2 dill pickle spear I think that is all Fluids lost count, but know it was over 64 oz. Suppelments done Hazel

B: 4 oz Carb Control Yogurt L: Thai Tuna (3oz), 6 Ritz Crackers D: Chicken Caeser Salad- mexican style (just the sauce). It had grilled chicken breast, romaine, and pico de gyo and then a spicy caeser dressing. S: New Whey Liquid Protein Vial S: 4 oz CC Choco Milk TOTALS Cals~ 687 Fat~ 29 Carbs~ 31 Protein~ 68 I have done terrible with fluids today, but tomorrow is a new day.

NOTE TO SELF (AND OTHERS): Eating 2 spicy meals in one day is a bit taxing on the pouch... spent the night with an upset stomach in the ladies room. Who would have thought such a little amount of food could cause so much discomfort

hi everyone. My day went okay...I slept all day! I was soooo tired after work this work that I fell asleep giving report to the other nurse. My exciting weekend plans....working! I work all weekend long, 12 hours a day. So that's where I'll be. Here's what I had: 12 a.m.- Ultra Lean pocket, insides and some crust 3:30 a.m.- 1 oz. RF cheese, 15 goldfish pretzels 6:30- Qsmart bar....made me dry heave and nothing came up! 3:30 p.m.- 3 oz. steak w/ some salad w/ 2 tbsp croutons and FF italian drsg 5:00 p.m.- 8 oz. CC Choc. milk Then I was all over carbs today...I had doritos, pringles, goldfish, cracker. AF is arriving soon. I smacked my hand and said tomorrow is a new day. April

Hi April, I've had the same experience with qsmart bars, I think it the sugar alcohols. Alternatively, the Luna bars have the same protein and 8-10g sugar, depending on the flavor, and its mostly organic/natural ingredients. I get them at Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and even the drug store. They have lots of flavors with or without chocolate, I am not too into anything sweet right now and love the toasted nut-n-cranberry as well as the peanut butter ones. The blueberry is also really good. Hope you are doing well! T

I love the Luna Bars! My favorite is the Caramel Nut Brownie. I always eat the Qsmart bars, and I do fine with them. Sugar alcohols usually don't bother me too much, but there could always be the day that it my pouch! I felt fine afterwards! It was kinda weird.... Thanks! April

April, Thanks so much for posting about the carb attack. I have been having such problems with this and I always think that it is just ME. I am sorry that you are having this issue as well but it is comforting to know that I am not alone.
