OK folks, it's 83 degrees outside and in my house it's 72. But I am freezing I am sitting here with a long sleeve sweatshirt and fuzzy socks on and it's the friggin middle of August What the heck is going on I was cold yesterday too and had soup for dinner to help warm me up. I even sat outside on my patio in the sun for awhile and I'm still freezing. My hands are cold and so is my nose. What's going on

Ronna, I think it's all due to you losing your insulation! At least I have noticed that in my case. I go through phases where I feel colder than usual. It'll be interesting to see how we get through this coming winter! Karen S.

When I was heavier, I kept the house at 72 also, now I keep it at the 78 which is the recommended level. You don't need as much cooling now, so try turning up the ac level. I feeze if the ac is on in most cases now too, not the over all coolness, just the cold blowing on me. Part is loosing the weight, the other is the change in metabolizm.

I'd love to turn down the A/C but there are 3 other people and a very hairy dog who I live with and they think I'm So I'll just have to wear sweats in the house

So am I, Ronna. I got on sweatpants and socks. My feet always seem to get cold first. Usually I'm the one cranking up the air but this year, I could care less if it's on or not. Steph's thinks I'm crazy I'm gonna let her read this post Kay

I get cold too, sometimes, especially my feet. All I have to do is walk outside where it's over 100 and I warm up fast! You're not crazy, Ronna. Karla

Im often cold too, Ronna...I go to bed, pull up the covers and drape my heavy floor- length fleece robe over my feet! They are the coldest part of me, my feet...poor JB says that I am usually curled up in a ball pressed to him to get warm. The great thing is....had I been as big as i was LAST year in this summer's heat, Id have DIED! Im handling the heat so much better. It's like as if Ive taken off my 3 inch thick blubber layer...Im much more comfortable now. Now we know how the OTHER half lives! *s* Nancy B
