Wow the board is quiet today! I guess everyone is out enjoying the weekend! Today I spent the entire day on the couch doing nothing but nap and watch movies on lifetime. We have decided to get up and go walk uptown for a while and enjoy what's left of the afternoon. My menu~ B~ 3 strips of turkey bacon S~ 8 oz protein coffee L~ Salad w/ ham, turkey, cheese, cucumbers, bacon bits, crutons and lite ranch S~ Few peices of beef jerkey D~ Baked fish and 5 boiled shrimp My totals.. Calories~ 588 Fat~ 22 Carbs~ 19 Protein~ 80 Have a nice evening, Kay

Yes, Kay the boards are quiet today. I went to SS and church today, then Walmart on the way home, ate McD's salad, then took a nap. Now I'm getting chores done. I'll rest up again in a little while. I like to chill on Sunday afternoons because our M-F are always busy and wild. On the menu: B: 1/2 Jimmy Dean Breakfast skillet & 2 little pieces of cantaloupe S: Protein Iced Mocha Latte L: 1/2 McDonald's Asian grilled chicken salad (didn't go down well this time - threw some back up) S: watermelon and a handful of trail mix D: Cajun stuffed pork chops and green beans Vitamins: done Water: 40 oz. so far, much more to go Exercise: gonna work out on my son's BowFlex machine later today Karla 337/223/150

I have had a nice sunday... B: 5 oz Fage 2% Yogurt, 10 blueberries mixed in... ate this over the course of 45 min. L: 3 oz Broccoli Cheddar Soup (panera), 10 Soy Crisps (I found these new ones, they are waffle cut and are made by Snyders of Hanover- Eat Smart line. They are so yummy. Addicting. D: Hosted a BBQ at my house... had 1 FF Turkey Dog, 15 Soy Crisps S: (Plan to have) 1 C. CC Choco Milk, 1 and 1/2 scoop Nectar Cappuccino TOTALS Cals~ 701 Fat~ 27 Carbs~ 40 Protein~ 76 Oh. Wait! I ate 1/2 a brownie too... boy that is going to throw off my totals... So, these are the right totals Cals 750 Fat 30 Carbs 46 Protein 76 Oops

Is it just me or is everyone having a hard time with the boards this evening? It takes forever to get a post to go through. Anyway, I thought I would create a new dinner tonight. I put 3 slices of Canadian bacon with 2 slices of American on a sun dried tomato & herb wrap & nuked them....then I added some lettuce, a garden tomato and a little mayo. I thought it would be good,,,except I hated the wrap. YUK!!! so I took it off & ate the insides--it was ok. Here's the rest of today's menu for me. B: Powercrunch bar S: none L: cantaloupe & cottage cheese--the cantaloupe was from hubby's garden & it was huge--as big as a volleyball. I didn't eat my usual 1/4...lol S: none D: Canadian bacon, cheese, lettuce & tomato S: Edy's sugar free fruit bar vitamins & water ok excercise--off until tomorrow

That wrap idea is a good one... sounds delish, I may have to make one this week. Thanks for sharing the idea... sorry you didn't like the wrap. I use Mission Carb Balance Wheat tortillas (I get the small taco sized ones). Anyway, they are the best tasting low carb tortilla I have tried yet... maybe try it with those. And, I am in love with Edys NSA Fruit Bars.
