Hey gals. I worked until 4:30 - ran to do errands - ran home and let my dog out - went to hospital to visit my stepfather who had a hip replaced on Monday and hasn't been able to get up and walk yet, then had to pick up my son from football practice and we just got home at 6:30. I then cooked him a nutritious dinner of shrimp alfredo, cheese/garlic toast, and chocolate souffles - you can do this to with a freezer, convenience foods, an oven, and a microwave! He's already polished most of it off in less than 30 minutes. On the menu: B: Iced Mocha Latte protein shake S: handful of trail mix (mostly nuts) L: 1/2 c Asian Chicken S: 1/2 c SF/FF Banana Creme Protein pudding, then 1 hr. later 2 c popcorn (craving a little salty food) D: will eat leftovers of beans, chicken enchilada Vitamins: In Water: 88 oz. so far Exercise: 15 minutes on bike this morning - I forgot to set my alarm and woke up late! Karla - This is my 7 month surgiversary and I got up late and in my hurry, drank 3 c water before I remembered to weigh and it was too late then - I'll have to see in the morning! 337/222/150

Happy Hump Day, everyone! And what a beautiful day it is here! I got up early today...JB wanted to know what was wrong...lol...Im such a NIGHT person...must have a lil vampire blood in my veins! Hide the garlic!! Today was fairly productive...well it was, this morning! I cleaned, tipped and steamed another half bushel of green and yellow beans from the garden for the freezer, then washed and processed a half bushel of Roma tomatoes along with a quart of onions from the garden to make more meat sauce to freeze, I did 4 loads of laundry, did alot of handwashing of delicates, spiced and marinated a beautiful big pork tenderloin for the barbeque later, answered most of my emails, designed a flyer for our next sale at the farm, checked in on mother, left several messages for friends who are off galavanting about, made an appointment for my annual oncology appointment (being a breast cancer survivor, I made an appointment for my mammogram (what fun this will be this time with my poor lil flat empty boobies, size LONG!!), I made a doctor's appointment for my monthly checkup and to get the results of my last bloodwork and get weighed! I also called and complained to the local newspaper because with rural delivery, the drivers get lazy and skip our short road because they are forced to backtrack a 1/2 mile to deliver to the four houses here on our section of the road. Its just a weekly local paper but I enjoy it and I also advertise in it for the farm so I need to monitor the ads. And I arranged to get the locates done on our property for the hydro and Bell (buried phone lines) since they are digging close to the hydro meter by the side of the house to the foundations of the new verandah that we are adding to the front and side of our house.. JB is continuing his work on the tractor, restoring it so beautifully, such a perfectionist, he is! Derek is busy working with another contractor today, his cousin, Kevin, and his uncle, so I dont know yet if he is coming home for dinner but soon I will get that tenderloin on the barbeque. Danny had come over last night right from work so h stayed for dinner..I always enjoy having them all back together ...they kibbitz alot and are so funny! And this is what Rufus, my pouch, got to eat today! B banana/strawberry protein shake= 30 grams of protein S piece of cheese= 6 grams protein L 2 hard-cooked eggs made into egg salad sandwich filling wrapped into a "Crispy Wrap" (romaine lettuce in the shape of a taco)= 13 grams of protein S skim milk= 10 grams of protein D salad w/ minced pork tenderloin and shredded cheese=30 grams of protein S a "Skinny Cow" fudgicle= 3 grams of protein TOTAL GRAMS OF PROTEIN= 92 GRAMS 2litres of water vitamins, iron, B12 and calcium Nancy B

I got vampire in my blood too. It's 3:30 am and I'm just now getting sleepy. Your day on the farm is so interesting. I love reading about your day. My dream is to get out of the city and live wayyyyyy out somewhere on a farm. For some reason, I want a goat too. @ you describing your boobies.. I think we all feel the same way.. Long and flat! I didn't know you are a cancer survivor.. What a blessing
