Wow's from High School Boys!

I knew this would get your attention. You know I work as an educational diagnostician at our local high school. I test students for our special education program and hold meetings w/ their parents to plan their schedules. This time of year I have to meet w/ all our transfer students and change a lot of our kids schedules for one reason or another. Kids are in and out of my office constantly. Several of the high school boys have made comments to me about being skinny now. Of course I'm not skinny, but a lot smaller than I was last year. Today one boy who came in my office pretty much every day last year to see me saw me in his class when I was looking for another student. I was surprised he didn't say hello to me. Later today, he came in my office and said "Miss...you look different this year." I said "I don't know why, Manuel" and he said "Your skinny now". I told him thanks a lot. Another student said close to the same the other day, and then told my sister at the grocery store where he works that I had lost a lot of weight and was almost the same size as her. I'm not quite fitting in her 10's & 12's by a long shot, but hopefully I'll get there. Anyway, nothing like compliments from HS boys for a 46 year old lady. Karla 337/221/150

Karla, That is a wow moment. Boys don't usually notice anything. Especially in authority figures. That must have made your day! Kathy
