No belly hitting the steering wheel, getting into size 22pants with lots of room, and looks from guys at the gym 5. Do you find yourself ALWAYS looking in the mirror now? Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? I look in the mirror more now but I am happy with the results..I actually have a face now!

Did you have a "Last Supper" before surgery and what did you eat? *** I did a last supper of sorts the night I decided to lose my weight to get my BMI under 55... we had Pizza... lol! I LOVE chicken Luau yummmmy. The night before my surgery I had to bowel preps and what not 2. What's your favorite show to watch on tv? *** Numb3rs, Without a Trace, Grey's Anatomy 3. Do you do online shopping? What's your favorite site to buy from? *** Not really lol I wanna try the stuff on! 4. Share you last 3 wow moments that stand out the most? *** Wow.... um.......*** 1. A friend's mom came into Jack the other day and I started to chit chat with her about her son and she looked at me like I was crazy. She looked at my name tag and my face like 4 times and just stood there. Then she realized who I was and made me twirl around in the Lobby! 2. Wearing size 14/16/XL tops and 16/18 bottoms 3. Having a Boyfriend lol! 5. Do you find yourself ALWAYS looking in the mirror now? Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? *** Yes, I constantly looking at myself- mirrors, windows, the paper towel dispensers at Jack.... I like the new me, but still pick out flaws

1. Did you have a "Last Supper" before surgery and what did you eat? Yes, a whole day. I did it one week before my surgery (then resumed my really strict preop diet immediately). I had Burger King Crissontwich meal for breakfast, Pizza and breadsticks for lunch, and the best mexican food ever for diner. Many ppl flame last meals, but I am SO GLAD I did it. I miss enjoying food, and that was the last food I really truely enjoyed. 2. What's your favorite show to watch on tv? Prison Break! (I also love Project Runway, the Bachelor, 20/20) 3. Do you do online shopping? What's your favorite site to buy from? Overstock.com 4. Share you last 3 wow moments that stand out the most? ~ Having my weight start with a 1 ~ Fitting into normal sized clothes, not plus! ~ Walking all day and not getting as tired as my fit friends! 5. Do you find yourself ALWAYS looking in the mirror now? Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? I feel fatter now more then ever. When I was SMO I ignored my body... now it is a major focus and I am on one hand happy for being thinner but, I still am more consious of it all

I am so with you on the whole conscious of the body issue! Before I was like yeah I'm fat, as long as everything is covered up, go for it. Now, I wanna look pretty/cute/etc and am constantly worrying about the extra skin on my arms or the tire on my belly..... even though its skin You're not alone chickie!!!!

Hey Everybody! School started for me two weeks ago so I havent even been lurking recently! But, since rain cancelled my H2O aerobics class, I had a few minutes to check in with all of you guys. So here are my answers to Kay's questions: 1. Did you have a "Last Supper" before surgery and what did you eat? I took myself--alone as my husband "forgot" to not eat so he could go with me--to Texas Roadhouse and had a steak, ribs, baked potato, salad, ****tail, bread, dessert, peanuts, more bread, more bread, more bread and more bread. 2. What's your favorite show to watch on tv? I don't have time to watch much tv. If I can, I catch new episodes of ER 3. Do you do online shopping? What's your favorite site to buy from? I dont like shopping, at all. Although I have tried to find a used textbook for one of my classes. 4. Share your last 3 wow moments that stand out the most? A) Yesterday at the KY state fair, on one of those blow-up obstacle courses the national guard has, the young man said to me (as i struggled to get through one of the giant holes) "are you going to let your brother beat you like that?" My "brother" was my 15 year old son! B) Saturday, I climbed a rock wall that went 47 feet into the ceiling of a three story building. And I went all the way to the top. It was almost unbelievable. C) Other faculty and staff and students at school havent recognized me! They thought I was a new teacher! 5. Do you find yourself ALWAYS looking in the mirror now? Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? When I was fat, I looked in the mirror and saw the skinny person in my head. It wasnt until I saw pictures that I realized how fat I was. Now, at 157, I look in the mirror and see the fat person I used to be. I think it's a mental thing. 1. I had several last suppers. I was with my family in South Dakota for the holidays right before my surgery. I told them I wanted all my 'favorite' foods because I knew it would be the last time I would be able to have some of them. My 'last' was Indian Tacos. 2. My favorite show is Hell's Kitchen. Gordon Ramsey makes my boss look like an 'angel' - LOL 3. I love online shopping. My favorite sites are QVC, eBay, and One Spirit. 4. Wow moment 1 - I was 'clothes' shopping. I could fit into a 12!!!!!!! Wow moment 2 - People I have worked with for 6 years didn't recognize me. Wow moment 3 - I can feel (and see) my ribs and collarbones. 5. What's your favorite show to watch on tv? Hmmmm... I like too many!!! I tiVo a lot of shows and watch them while I'm on the treadmill or bike: Grey's Anatomy, ER, 24, Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck, Deal or No Deal. LOL 3. Do you do online shopping? What's your favorite site to buy from? Yes, I shop online, but for scrapbook stuff. LOL I don't by clothing online anymore because I never know how something is going to fit me. 4. Share you last 3 wow moments that stand out the most? 1. The look on the face of the lady who does my pedicures. She hasn't seen me since I was a few mths post-op. 2. Taking my daughter to daycare my whole @$$ fit on those little chairs in the Kindergarten classroom. 3. Comfortably fitting in my size 14's jean I bought on clearance at Walmart. 5. Do you find yourself ALWAYS looking in the mirror now? Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? No, I'm not constantly looking on the mirror, but when I do .... I always look over the flaws... but I feel better - so that's all I need to know right now. Susan

Hi Kay! OK so it's Tuesday morning, but can I still play? 1. Did you have a "Last Supper" before surgery and what did you eat? I had surgery abour 1 week before my birthday, so we celebrated my birthday the night before surgery with lots of good stuff! We had buffalo wing dip with chips(shredded chicken, blue cheese dressing and lots of other shredded cheeses, all heated together in the oven, yummmy), crab rangoon, chocolate mayonnaise cake, garbage bread, and homemade bacon cheese dip in a bread bowl. 2. What's your favorite show to watch on tv? Big Brother! So Kay, who's gonna win?? I know it sounds crazy but I LOVE Will! 3. Do you do online shopping? What's your favorite site to buy from? OH YEAH!! EBAY all the time and my newest favorite is silverjewelryclub.com...they offer a new piece every 20 minutes and all you pay is 5.99 shipping for every item! I just got my ring, necklace and earrings yesterday! 4. Share you last 3 wow moments that stand out the most? fitting on the rides at the fair, walking around the fair for 11 HOURS and not feeling winded, and making it to onderland! 5. Do you pick out flaws or are you totally happy with your new look now? yes, I am always looking in the mirror now, and as long as my huge tummy is covered I like what I see, but if it's not I am still pretty disgusted. Karyn~ I LOVE Will and Mike Boogie too. They make the show interesting!! I laugh so hard when they do their "telephone" thing in the confession room I want one of them to win but I think Janelle or Erica might win this year. I missed the last 2 shows but I have them recorded so I need to catch up later on. Kay
