Party for one.....

Hey everyone thought I would share. I am having a party for one tomorrow.... That's right a party for one. my children and husband are going back to school/work and I will be on my own again for the first time in 10 weeks. What should I do? Maybe rest ...I sure do not want to clean but at least I will not hear any whining from the ours of 7am to 3pm......Just imagine the quiet...... ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

I hear you and am right there with you, hon. My kids go back to school tomorrow, too. PRAISE THE LORD!! But really, I am looking forward to having the time and space to organize my choir music in the afternoon. With Holidays coming in 3 weeks I have tons to do and it's impossible to do it with the kids underfoot. RobinNJ

I can't stand an empty house. Guess that is because I see the empty next thing coming soon. Hubby is gone for work months on end and the kids are both in their 20s now. So I love the house having people, guess it's an age thing.

Don't get me wrong I love when they are home...but I love it even more when they "have to be gone and can't bother me" over trivial things. I do get sad when they are gone but then they come home and You know the whinning starts and I wish they were in school" It is a vicious cycle..But I do love them... ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

Enjoy your quiet day tomorrow!!! If you have cleaning, do it first and get it out the way. Kick your feet up and relax, take a nap or a long hot bubble bath. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy every moment. Kay

Having the house to yourself - to me that's a dream vacation. We live in a small house, my husband has an office at home and he's is always home. My son is 18 and is home when I am there so I would love to kick them out and have the house to myself. Love them both but do need my space. Enjoy your day! Karen S.
