I am feeling actually very good, I am a little sore and kinda tired but that is about it. Not hungry at all, although I am drinking my water and am up moving around quit a bit as I don't want any blood clots in my legs. I had lost 31 lbs. before I went in for surgery and had been on 2 weeks of liquid protein. That was not always easy, over the holidays and everything but I do believe it helped make my surgery go alot smoother and made recovery easier.

Hi Teri! We have the same surgeon and are only 8 days apart -- I go in on Jan 24th! How are you doing with the emotions? Have you met with Dr. Francis yet? I meet with her on the 17th. Looking forward to hearing from you to swap stories. Emily

Jill, That is awesome, I had to stay for two nights and was climbing the walls that second one. How are you feeling? Keep us updated on your process. Congrats on being on the losing side! Hugs, Beth

Jill, Can you believe you are finally on the losing side? wow , must be a great relief to not have to worry about the "what ifs" that some of us are still experiencing pre-op. As I told Beth in her post-op posting I will tell you the same thing... I and so many others that are still very nervous and stressed out about this surgery, are so glad to hear success stories and very speedy recoveries like yours (out of the hospital in just one day...unbelievable ). You don't know how much it is helping to ease some of these fears I am experiencing when I read post such as yours and Beth, and I hope many more from all our January buddies. Again, I am so happy that you are feeling so well and hope you continue doing well in the weeks and months ahead. Hugs. Deb H Surgery: January 24th

I was very nervous and very stressed also, fear of the unknown!! I really tried to stay positive and I also have a great husband and great group of friends and family that have been very supportive, that has been wonderful!! Stay strong and positive and you will do well too!!
