Surgery over
I am feeling actually very good, I am a little sore and kinda tired but that is about it. Not hungry at all, although I am drinking my water and am up moving around quit a bit as I don't want any blood clots in my legs.
I had lost 31 lbs. before I went in for surgery and had been on 2 weeks of liquid protein. That was not always easy, over the holidays and everything but I do believe it helped make my surgery go alot smoother and made recovery easier.
Jill,
Can you believe you are finally on the losing side? wow
, must be a great relief to not have to worry about the "what ifs" that some of us are still experiencing pre-op. As I told Beth in her post-op posting I will tell you the same thing... I and so many others that are still very nervous and stressed out about this surgery, are so glad to hear success stories and very speedy recoveries like yours (out of the hospital in just one day...unbelievable
). You don't know how much it is helping to ease some of these fears I am experiencing when I read post such as yours and Beth, and I hope many more from all our January buddies. Again, I am so happy that you are feeling so well and hope you continue doing well in the weeks and months ahead.
Hugs.
