Trying to take my own before pics

This is absolutely hilarious. I want n*de before shots from all 4 angles. So I can see how my body is changing... I am *SO* embarassed to ask anyone for help with this... so I have been playing with my digital camera trying to find the best possible location and lighting and background for the last hour or so... my boys must think I am crazy! Of course I am not taking the actual pictures until they are asleep later tonight.... What kind of pictures are you going to take? Will you do measurements as well as weight? Here we go for round two!! Cherise

Good idea! I didn't think of taking nude photos. I am sure that my husband will get a big kick out of that! My surgery is for 1/19. I am soooo excited! Good luck and congrats on the final journey to become a loser! this is the first time that I am going to enjoy being a loser!!!! Hugs

I dont have any advice but I just wanted to say Good Luck with finding the right lighting and Thanks for the laugh I wanted nude pics too but I'm also too embarresed to ask. Yes I will be taking my measurements. Kay 5 days til surgery

That is hilarious. I am sure my husband would have too muh fun if I asked him to do that. Before his last deployment he kept trying to get naked pictures of me, and since I wouldn't let him he'd pull the shower curtain open when I was taking a shower. It is a good idea though, and one I never thought of. Good luck with it. Do you have a webcam? That might be an option.

I have no shame. Here is my picture story. My sister said I will take my clothes off in front of anyone! My friend wanted to help me keep a picture record of my body renovation. We found the perfect door way to use as a back ground to showcase my body changes. As she was taking a shot from all four sides she says "If you think about it next time wear some granny panties and we can take some shots of you in your underwear to really show the changes". I laughed out loud. "What kind of underwear do you think I wear?" I asked. We both started laughing when I stripped down to my "granny" panties and 18 hour support bra! She wants to take me shopping to VS when I am ready as she thinks I need an under things extreme makeover! Teresa

***sigh*** victoria's secret..... the ever elusive underwear, oops I mean lingerie, store... It is hard to even wrap my brain around the idea that I will one day be able to go in there and {{gasp}} buy something off of their racks!!!

What a hoot reading this!! I used to fit into VS years ago and was in there buying gift cards over the holidays. Honestly, their stuff is cheap and not as great as it once was or is said to be. But a nice goal, nevertheless.... On that note, Chico's just expanded their line to include lingerie and its nice stuff, when I fit into it, I want to go there. Tonite one of my best friends came over to take my before pictures. Today is my last day of food before liquids so we had a bottle of wine before the photo shoot. Oh my. : If WLS was not 3 days away I'd be devistated but since it is, my pics were quite hysterical! I slouched. I bloated my belly and could clearly pass for 9-10 months pregnant - with twins. Not pretty but leaves lots of room for improvement! I even bought a new tape measure today. Unfortunately the numbers were higher than the weather temperature. Contemplating some nude shots in front of the mirrored closet doors. Hmmm. Just think, in 6 months we'll be flashing these pictures to anyone and everyone. Be well, ladies!! ~Tiffany

Hi Cherise! I contemplated taking nude pics too...I literally got sick just thinking about it. Fortunately, my boyfriend shows me immense love and acceptance, and HE convinced me to let him take the pics of me. It was really hard in the beginning, but it got easier the more he took. Of course, then it was MY turn... Girl, just have fun with it, and remember, those pictures will soon be of the OLD you...tell yourself,"Okay, I may not be happy with myself now, but that will soon be in the past. I will, and deserve to, love myself to the fullest." I'm telling you, it's really helped me to recite that on a daily basis. If I hadn't, I would never have been ok with not only taking the pics, but eventually LOOKING at them!! AHHH!! Good luck and just take deep breaths!

I don't think I am quite brave enough to try n*de pictures, but I was thinking bathing suit...or underwear and bra...cute ones of course. I honestly had thought of measurements. I can't believe I didn't think of that one. I am going to measure tomorrow...or maybe the day before surgery...not sure. Thanks for the idea!! I do understand about asking for help with the preop photos. I have a friend that offered to help but I can't quite bring myself to actually calling him and doing it. He's a gay photographer, one would think it wouldn't be difficulty, but I just can't do it. My parents got me a digital camera for Christmas, I am hoping to take some pics in the next day or two. No I just have to pick out the outfit. Do you have an "outfit"? You know...the same outfit for progress pictures?? Showing how it fits you baggier each month.
