All the clocks in my house are Broken!
Good Evening all my January buddies
I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Mine was good. I just wanted to stop and say Hi to everyone and check up on your guys.
My surgery is in 5 days and the time is dragging by. Usually the days go by so fast. I keep watching the clock and I am convinced that they are all broken. They are moving too slow.
I am so ready to get this over with so I can have a peace of mind. This surgery is all I can think about.
So how is everyone else? Are you watching the clock and making big X's on the calender like me? Do you feel nervous, scared or super excited ?
What are you doing to stay busy and make the days go faster?
**CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who had a successful surgery over the past few days and is home!!!!! Keep us posted on how your doing.
Everyone have a good night,
Kay
Hi There!
I, too, have been thinking that time is standing still. Even though it's moving slow, I have so much preparing to do in my classroom to get ready for a sub. You'd think time would be flying by! Up until this weekend, I have been super excited. Now the nerves have been kicking in. You're right...the surgery is about all I think about. I just want it over and be home again-no complications!! I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way!

Mine, too!
Time seems to be really really dragging by. I'm trying to schedule a lot of stuff for my daughter to do and drag out my post-op supplies shopping.
I'm super excited and a tiny bit nervous ... and mostly I just want to be on the loosing side!
4 whole days to go. UGH. But Tuesday afternoon I have an appointment with my surgeon and on Wednesday I have pre-op testing. So hopefully that will help.

I think your clocks and mine must be set to the same weird time continuum...mine are ticking the hours & days away very slowly as well. I am 10 days away from leaving and 11 away from surgery. Although I have a lot to do to get ready, it doesn't seem to keep me occupied enough to stop counting the days.
I have found myself watching conversation with friends and family, because not only is it all I think about, it is also all we talk about. I love that they are all completely interested and want to know everything that I am going to be going through, but it completely dominates every conversation I have. Not that I have a problem, but I feel bad being the main topic at a friend's birthday or babyshower.
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! I will be praying for a safe surgery and speedy recovery for you. See you on the flip side.
