Well I came home today. ...

Well I came home today. Surgery went smooth. No nausea, so far no problems with the food. I had a bad case of gas or bloating yesterday. But that finally passed and I am doing much better. For some reason they decided to keep me another night and told me I would have to have oxygen. So took several tests yesterday and ultra sounds and for some reason I am needing it. My lips turned blue and my daughter said something is going on, what is it? Any of you with these problems? I have to do the Lovenox shots and was lucky enough to get all the needed perscriptions today. My daughter went for me...So I am on my way.. So happy to tell you the hospital was great and everyone was just wonderful. Dr Deveney was great, He also had David Lee, who helped with the surgery. He was so good and came to see me several times each day. The anesthesia was general and he was also great and came to see me the next day. Wonderful all the way around, I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. I felt so good the second day and then gas started to bother me. All is well now.

Hey Marlene Just wanted to say "Hi" and welcome you home. Sorry I've been away from Boards for awhile and have missed meeting you and sending msg while you were in hospital. Glad to see that you are doing alright and you had a good experience with your doctors and hospital. So great that your daughter is taking such good care of you.
