Good evening Ladies How is everyone today? I'm doing good. My two week checkup is tomorrrow and I am so ready to get these staples out and find out how much I have lost. I'm afraid that I'll be a slow loser because I lost so much pre op. I guess I'll find out soon. I hope everyone is getting use to their new post op life! Take your vitamins, sip your water, chew your food good, drink your protein and measure your food. So much to get use to but I know it will pay off in the end for all of us. We will be bragging about fitting in smaller jeans in no time Anyway~ Here is what I ate today..... B~6 oz carb countdown milk with Chocolate Designer whey protein L~2 1/2 oz of Carb control blueberry yougart. S~SF popsicle D~1/4 C.Pureed tuna with a little FF mayo, relish and onion I hope everyone has a good night! Take Care Kay

Hi everyone, On the December board I saw reference to a neat website, www.highproteinfoods.com - its broken down by food type and then each food has protein grams, % of total. i found it very helpful.. Back later with a food log, not hungry today... ~Tiffany

Thanks for asking Kay! Good luck at your appointment tomorrow! LND: 1/2 fish fillet about 2oz B: Protein Shake S: s/f Jello L: 3 slices of thin turkey with 2 slices of cheese D: Cream of Chicken soup S: Protein shake I bought a smaller pair of jeans today too!!!

Hi Kay!!! Today was much better for me! B- two poached eggs L- 35 grams of Tilister cheese 35 grams of deli chicken D- two raw mushrooms +2 ounces of beef ( very small pieces chewed to pudding consistency)+ 15 grams of cheese + one baby corn S-1 glass if low fat milk About 60 oz of water Calories: 630 Fat:29 Carb:26 Protein:64 Really glad I have been able to up my protein...it is sooo hard without any supplements!! I hate that there is no room for veggies!! But after I do the protein I can't get much else in! Deb!!

Did sooooo bad today! I woke up late, had to be at work early and completely missed my protein shake. B - 3 strawberries in the car S - watermelon L - tuna and saltines S - more watermelon D - more tuna! and some mozerella cheese. I've only had about 20oz. of water too! Beth

Just finished my dinner so this is very timely. Really not hungry this morning. Had 4oz of OJ at the hospital while I had my IV ****tail. Had a Wendy's Chili for Lunch For dinner I made a can of white tuna mixed with 3 tablespoons of lowfat cream of mushroom soup and put lowfat cheddar cheese on top. Kind of a Tuna ala King. It was pretty tasty! Also, of course, am drinking my Isopure and crystal lite. This is giving me a very high protein day plus getting in all my fluids.

Hi Kay!! b 1/2 cup protein shake l: 1/4 cottage cheese s: 1/2 cup protein shake sup: 1/4 cup mashed potatoes (instant) and 2 pieces of string cheese I dont know about anyone else but those instant potatoes are the best thing on this earth! I felt like I was eating something real. -Sue 242/???/130

Hi All! Hope you are having a great day. Today was my first day on puree diet. So not sure where to go with it... This is what I've done so far... B...1 egg eggsalad, 4oz SF applesauce....It helped to get the eggsalad down.. L...1/2C veg soup/broth pureed of course S...1/2C protein shake....really had to dr. it up to get it down. D...5oz small curd cottage cheese w/ strawberry mix in. S...SF popsicle I know its not enough protein...but the cottage cheese had 11gms!...Doing really bad with the liquids today...it's difficult to fit them in..do you all have to wait 45-60mins before eating and 45-60mins after eating to drink liquids? There aren't enough hours in the day!!!... I'll do better tomorrow... Bren

I think Im finally starting to get a routine. B: protein shake L: 2oz. deli turkey D: 2oz turkey and 1oz egg 32 oz Crystal light 36 grams protien........thats a record for me, lol. Kristi 317/285/180

Hi Kay, Good luck tomorrow on your appointment. You'll feel so much better once those staples get removed. Hopefully you'll get the okay to drive also. Anyway here is what I had today. Woke up late also so not that much liquid. B-4 ounces of lite yogurt with Splenda L-1/2 c. of FF cottage cheese D-Few bites of chicken, pureed grean beans & mashed potatos S-8 ounces of Protein powder in 2% milk 23 ounces of water & vitamins Have a good night, Carly
