Back home & resting...

Hello fellow January surgery buddies, I'm back from having surgery on 1/24. I came home last evening as scheduled and my doctor said it was "textbook". Like most of you before me, I'm tired and sore, although my pain meds are keeping it to a dull roar. It's mostly my left side where they put all the instruments through and cut through the muscle that hurts. Just had some broth and I'm going to work on some SF jello for lunch. Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers. I really feel like they were answered. Now I can't wait to get on the scale at the doctor's office to see that I'm really on the losing side (although I feel so bloated I can't imagine I've lost anything!). Hey Lisa Glad to see that you're home and doing so well! Just hang in there, each day does get even better. Just take it easy and don't try to overdo things. Looking forward to hearing more great news from "Losing Side"! Take care & God Bless Lisa

Hi guys; glad to hear that all is going well.I also had a very textbook case. No problems other than a bit of nausea here and there,Taking liquids and tried some protein shake stuff this a.m. So glad that so far the Jan losers seem to be hanging in well. Stay well. Patsy

Welcome home Lisa!!! Hope you have a speedy recovery!!! Just remember that everyone gains weight after getting out of surgery either from the gas they pump into you or from the surgery and swelling.(dave told me that one ) Welcome to the losing side!! -Sue 242/???/130
