Hi Patsy! Glad to hear that you are doing well. I still have pain in my left side I am on a liquid pain killer for that. I'm on soft foods now for the next three weeks. I'm holding down everything. Thank god I have not had the dumping syndrome I guess I have been lucky with that. As of yesterday I'm down to 434 lbs a total of 33 lbs since I left the hospital on the 13th god bless Dave

Hello fellow Januarians, Its been a heck of a month, eh? On the 11th I went in at my highest weight of 280, now 255 for a loss of 25 lbs. I see the difference in the mirror, especially in my face and waist. My pants show it in the butt/thighs and I am back in my 18's. I will only do measurements monthly. I am still a bit slow and sore on my left side but every day is better than the last. This week I worked and getting into the routine felt great, next week I am involved with some business meetings dtwn and look forward to being away from my house for a few nights. Walking makes me feel so much better; my energy and mobility soars each time I am out. I've got a 115 lb black lab who thrives on powerwalking so its always been a big part of my life; he came home last night and this morning we went on our normal route, it was soo good for both of us. This experience has been greatly enhanced by the comraderie and friendship found thru all of you. ~Tiffany

Good Evening Patsy and everyone Wow....what a trip it has been. Only 5 days out and I feel like I have been on a roller coaster ride. I got on the scale htis morning and I am down 7 pds!!! My official weight was 269....scale says 262(but I had on all my clothes so maybe I can deduct 1 more pound-lol) Very hard to get in liquids...having a hard time figuring out if my stomach is hungry or so full that it is making noises. I am so glad to hear that we are all doing good. Take care and talk to ya alls soon. Tina xxooxxoo 269/262/140ish Pre-op

Hurts to bend or laugh. But other then those few things, I feel great. Just wish the scales would move faster. Kristi

Hi guys! Things are going great here. I had open RNY 1/3 and have been feeling great. I went in at 315 and now am at 288. I have been back to work 2 weeks and find that the worst is just being tired. Lisa
