What was on YOUR menu for Monday?
This was a weird weekend for eating for me. I tried scrambled eggs again and
. So I guess I will stay away from them for a little while longer.
B: Protein Shake 1/2 banana
S: Cheese! mmmm cheese!
L: Cream of Chicken soup
S: slice of cheese and a slice of turkey
D: fish fillet
S: rest of protein shake from AM
Water: i'm okay about 30 oz so far and I have a Isopure to drink still
Vitamins 1 down 1 more to go
Exercise: getting hair done- does that count?

I'm doing good, the weather was into the 50's today so it was a nice break. Glad that you are able to get out & walk, that is so nice.
Here is what I had today:
B-4 ounces of Lit n Fit Strawberry Yogurt w/Fiber
L-1/2 c. of FF Cottage Cheese
D-Few bits of grilled salmon, mashed potatos & baby food sweet potatos.
S-1 scoop of protein powder with 8 ounces of Original Soy milk.
Water & the usual vitamins.

Its the funniest thing i see everyone is having vitamins, which ones are you taking, the doctor instructed me to get viactiv (chewable one) and they taste terrible.
For breakfast i had 1/2 pack of apple cinnamon oatmeal
6 oz of water
chicken soup for lunch
6 oz of fresh brewed def. ice tea made with splender
for dinner i am about to have some more soup and then water
I dont think i am getting any protein and iron, everything makes me sick
That should i do about that?

B: 1 can of Stallone choc pudding (eaten over a 90 minute period...)
L: 2 ounces of low fat cheese and 2 small saltine crackers
S: about 6 oz. shaved ice with black cherry koolaid concentrate sweeted with splenda (AKA sugar free snowball) YUM!
D: 8oz of Lipton noodle soup with chx broth
I got to get more fluids in so I think I'll be having another snowball tonight. The crushed and shaved ice is really appealing to me because of the crunch. It's not the typical beverage for January but I'll just pile on a blanket and enjoy! I also need to get in a soy protein shake yet this evening----there is just not enough time in the day to get all the fluids and protein in for me lately...

I am one week post op.
B~:1/4 cup of yogurt with a scoop of protein powder
L~: 1/4 cup of healthy choice smoked blended ham with 1 Tbsp of mayo and splash of 1% skim milk, 1/4 cup blended brocolli with. 1Tbsp of low fat cheese.
S~:1/4 cottage cheese with 1/4 cup blended strawberries
Water 3 glasses 1 with crystal light
I was just wondering how many calories are you eating. I have been tolorating my diet plan..I don't want to eat to much. I am wondering if I should cut back..

I have not started counting calories yet. I just try to get a certain amount of protein in a day and enough water. There are some that do count calories. Right now I dont eat enough to count calories but eventually I will. I dont want to overeat.
I don't think your eating too much but your nut or surgeon might think differently. When in doubt ask them. It wont hurt. I know its hard trying to eat enough but not eat too much and stick to what they are saying. I'm sure we will get the hang of all of this in no time.
