Hi everyone, B: few bites cottage cheese L: protein shake with soy milk D: slice of well-toasted sprouted bread with butter, goat cheese and slice of turkey. Oh, this was devine and perfectly filling. S: yogurt Over the next few days I'll face my first external eating experiences, restaurant meals for business. I love wine so it will be hard to pass on that; it will be interesting to have long dinners and eat just a few bites. I'm thinking about how I'll cut up and rearrange food so it looks like I've eaten something. Most likely I'll eat just as much (or not) as the little skinny women at the table and its all in my mind. Have a good week, Tiffany PS - I am coming off this heart beta blocker they gave me for a month because I was a bit stressed pre op and the cardiologist wanted to protect my heart. Over the last 2 days of reduced dosage I feel amazing and like I am waking up. Every day is better and better.

Kay, It is really interesting reading what everyone is eating. (although some were no-no's by my doctor's orders - like the pastas and breads and any meat but pureed) Maybe another week and I will be four weeks out and ready to experiment more. B - 1 EAS Choc Fudge protein shake then an hour later, 1/2oz soft cheddar cheese and 1 tbsp Skippy low carb peanut butter L - 1 Tbsp hummus and 30 min later 1/2 bottle Isopure protein drink D - Small cup SF/FF yogurt (can't remember brand name) and another EAS Choc Fudge protein shake about 45 min later. Where did you find lowfat Hormel chili?? Sandy

Hi sandy I am also amazed at what people are eating this early out. My list of pureed foods does not have a wide variety. Thats why I eat tuna or yougart almost everyday. The only meat I can have is can tuna or chicken and it has to be pureed very well. I got the lowfat hormel chili from super walmart (my favorite store). It comes in regular, vegatarian and turkey. I add a pinch of cheese and its really good. Have a good night Kay
